Taylor Walker
Daniella Sarahyba

Makes for a good story though.
Jake Delhomme: 79/133, 847 yards, 4 TD, 10 INT, 56.8 QB rating
*Jamarcus Russell has played 1 more game.
As bad as Jake has been in 2009, Russell is worse. The only people who could possibly disagree with that are brainwashed Raider's fans.
It takes a few seconds to do a little research rather than voicing an opinion that is uninformed an incorrect.
Smith is still an elite WR who keeps his mouth shut more often than not. He was the first to jump to Delhomme's expense, but to Smith this isn't about dollars, it isn't about stats it's about wanting to be a part of his team's victory.
Thus far in 2009 the OC and Delhomme haven't been able to use him effectively. Of course the full quote also included Smith saying the win was bittersweet because they got the win, but he was dissapointed he couldn't make a difference... but paraphrasing made more sense to get a controversial story.
Clearly from your quick wit though you must have recently recovered from a concussion like your golden boy.
The players I mentioned are rookies, not starters. Typically in the NFL you draft players in the 2nd and 4th round as depth players who may, one day, evolve into future starters. Normally this is how the NFL works. If you are drafting players in the 2nd and 4th round to start for your team, then you team is pretty bad to begin with. It's laughable you can't distinguish the difference between a rookie and a starter.
I am the furthest thing from delusional about my team, we have extreme coaching problems at the moment and a do-nothing DE who doesn't want to be here. That being said, when you attempt (poorly) to mock my optimism in two players who we got through the trade with the 49ers when you have no knowledge of their potential, then yes, I will support my point.
We filled a need with a good player in Brown who we valued very close to the top of our big board. Last time that happened we went the path less traveled and took a player who according to Mel Kiper 'should have been a 2nd round pick' we got Jon Beason 'way too early', and he's a Pro-Bowl LB.
So, instead of attempting to be a smartass, think about what you're saying before you say it and don't pretend to know the players in question when you clearly have no clue.
I'm not too worried about who we got.
Watch the video before commenting on it. I feel sad for anyone who can watch it and not realize they're kidding around.
After the video ends, Smith went to DeAngelo Williams and asked him to rip on Jake too because he 'wasn't getting enough of it'. They were all laughing as the fans at BoA stadium booed.
He's versatile and can play the 3 or the 4 and sold defensively. Exactly what Coach Brown is trying to do with the Cats.... so sit back and enjoy the ride as we transform into the Marseille Bobcats. At the least we have some spiffy new jerseys to look forward to next season, I'm loving the design.
In 2002, 6 teams had worse attendance
In 2003, 11 teams had worse attendance
In 2004, granted only 1 team had worse attendance.
In 2006, 9 teams had worse attendance.
In 2007, 15 teams had worse attendance than the Canes, including Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Boston, NJ and Chicago
In 2008, 10 teams had worse attendance than the Canes, including the NJ Devils.
In 2009, 10 teams had worse attendance than the Canes, including the NJ Devils.
So, in all these 'years of terrible attendance' we've only really had 1 horrible season. Check your stats next time.
- Tim Duncan
- Dwight Howard
- Emeka Okafor
As a Bobcats' fan, I know this trade is all but done, I'm just hoping there is some silver lining like an additional player or is part of some larger plan because straight up this doesn't make sense.
The Grizzlies have the lowest payroll in the league and they need to get better, fast to entice FAs. Getting Griffin might fill a gap they've been trying to since Pau left, and getting Baron gives them a backcourt option to help them along.
Plus, OJ Mayo and Baron are friends, it wouldn't make the transition too bad. I think the Clips get the better deal, but I don't think it's horrible for the Grizzlies.
-Clippers send #1 overall, Baron Davis to Grizzlies
-Grizzles send #2 overall, Rudy Gay to Clippers
Grizz draft Blake Griffin
Clips draft Ricky Rubio
Seems like a pretty decent trade for both parties.
His situation is slightly different to Yi's. He wants to be in a large market for endorsement money, because he has to pay close to $2 million out of his own pocket to be released by his Spanish club. He wont do this if drafted by OKC, or Memphis.
He wants to be in LA, Sacramento or another large market.
Dude can flat out play, had a down freshman year, but this is the same PG who broke CP3s and Deron Williams ankles in Beijing.
Rubio has been playing in the Spanish pro leagues for 4 years... since he was 14 (he's only 18 now). Due to the difference between US and European leagues it will take him a little longer to maturate, but he is a special prospect.
Griffin will be a solid NBA PF.... I'm thinking Al Jefferson like...
