Tebow isn't helping, because he *is* a little slow going through the reads and getting the ball out; if he were faster (and if he weren't so inclined to simply tuck it and run), maybe the third receiving option would get the ball more often. And if Tebow were faster, the O-line wouldn't have to hold the blocks so long. And If the receivers were getting open better/faster, he wouldn't have to go through the extra reads and some of the pressure would be off the O-line. See the negative circularity of all this?
If just one of those factors were improved, I think the passing game would be a lot better, and would provide better balance for the running game, which would also benefit as a result, thus making the entire offense a better machine. It's a combination of things that are not happening, and I'm getting more worried with each game.
I think your example is actually referencing the old (now discounted) rule against ending sentences with a preposition, which was originally based on attempts to make English conform with Latin grammar rules. Pretty sure that one has been dropped, as has the rule against split infinitives (in Latin infinitives are single words). So it's okay "to boldly go where no grammarian has gone before."
I ain't talking no more 'bout no grammer or any a dat ****...
