Of course, they might get a "Boy Named Sue" attitude about the whole thing.

Agree with all BS&B, though I'm a little less worried about Meyer leaving for ND, at least in the near term. Only concern I have for the game with FSU is that UF will be wearing perhaps the stupidest-looking of all the uniforms that Nike created in their Pro Combat series. Wearing "garter belt" pants has got to have some effect on a player's mindset going into a game! (j/k).

EWO! C'mon man, tell us what you think about the issue at hand! Inquiring minds want to know!

This got me thinking--always a bad sign--so bear with my convoluted logic. UF's receivers (other than Cooper and Hernandez) are not doing as well as everyone expected. If they had more time to get open and Tebow had more time to find them, maybe they would do better. They're not getting more time though, because the O-line is struggling a little, and isn't always able to hold blocks long enough for Tim to go through his reads.

Tebow isn't helping, because he *is* a little slow going through the reads and getting the ball out; if he were faster (and if he weren't so inclined to simply tuck it and run), maybe the third receiving option would get the ball more often. And if Tebow were faster, the O-line wouldn't have to hold the blocks so long. And If the receivers were getting open better/faster, he wouldn't have to go through the extra reads and some of the pressure would be off the O-line. See the negative circularity of all this?

If just one of those factors were improved, I think the passing game would be a lot better, and would provide better balance for the running game, which would also benefit as a result, thus making the entire offense a better machine. It's a combination of things that are not happening, and I'm getting more worried with each game.

Bowling ball is right...Dennis Johnson, 5'7" 200 lbs....by far his best game of the year. Not having Spikes hurt UF, and yes, they were also missing tackles.

Good points. The fumbles were a surreal flashback to '08 Ole Miss game. Addazio has got to get his mojo back with the playcalling, assuming he had some. Last year, as red zone offensive playcaller, he kicked butt...don't know what he's thinking this year. What has also not been mentioned is that on Demps' fumble there was a blatant leg whip by the Arkansas guy. Several Ark defensive spearing calls weren't made either, one on Tebow, in full view of everyone in the stadium.

Fair enough; I'm lost too.

EWO, I can sympathize. It's got to be excruciating. And as an old Gator, I'll be honest enough to say, it'd be great to have a real rivalry again (just one that UF could win the large majority of the time).

An example of a little thing I like to call "sarcasm."

Sandy, you need a little more sand in there.

I can't help myself.

I think your example is actually referencing the old (now discounted) rule against ending sentences with a preposition, which was originally based on attempts to make English conform with Latin grammar rules. Pretty sure that one has been dropped, as has the rule against split infinitives (in Latin infinitives are single words). So it's okay "to boldly go where no grammarian has gone before."

I ain't talking no more 'bout no grammer or any a dat ****...

I have a feeling his sons wouldn't try to tell him anything he doesn't want to hear. At this point it's all about Bobby!

I hear you (and stvjr), but I'm old school on this. Like all languages, English constantly evolves, which is what's going on with "alright," but it just reeks of illiteracy to me.

Okay...knew that would happen. I'll go back to my island. But my comments on BB stand!

Hate to pile on, and I'm risking the wrath of anti-grammarians on this, but "alright" is actually not a word....it's "all right."

Maybe just another cup of coffee...
