some marlins games arent even broadcast on TV. this saturdays game against the mets isnt gonna be on TV.

Sir, this fan from the north, went to at least 20-30 Mets games at Shea Stadium a year along with 40,000 other fans. And trust me, we all remember what a dump the stadium was. And there was nothing around to attract fans. Only junkyards. On top of that you had to deal with the smell from Flushing Bay and the cat-sized rats in the stadium. I moved down here to Miami 3 years ago and I can tell you that this is the biggest bandwagon town in America. There are Patriots and Yankees "fans" here who've never been north of Jacksonville. The new stadium is gonna be built in Lil Havana, an even worse location than where Dolphin Stadium is. Still though, if they spend money and put together a consistently winning team and keep it together, the bandwagon fans will have their own team to cheer for and might even attend some games.
