Hey, I'm not just talking about officiating in Penn State-Michigan games. The fumble-not a fumble bit in the Illinois-Michigan game several years ago was just as ridiculous. If GM is not paying Big Ten officials, then they must be dumb as s**t. Guess what, the good times are over. GM can no longer afford it.

Hey, I'm not just talking about officiating in PSU-Michigan games. The officiating is bad in any Big Ten game involving Michigan. That fumble-not a fumble bit in the Illinois-Michigan game several years ago was as ridiculous as officials adding time to the clock because Carr asked them to do so. These guys are either paid by GM or are as dumb as s**t. Guess what, GM can no longer afford it.

If you knew anything about the series, you would know that Paterno never coached against Schembechler. DUH! Paterno was 3-1 versus Moeller. You do realize that the Big Ten officials won five of the games between Paterno and Carr. "Sure Lloyd, we'll put some seconds back on the clock for you, anything you want." Non-existent pass interference and calling completed passes with two feet in bounds as out of bounds come to mind. Michigan doesn't only hold like the rest of the conference, they can tackle defensive linemen with no flag. It's going to be tough now that GM can't afford to bribe the Big Ten officials. You need to do better homework. I wonder now who needs to shut their piehole.

I suppose a 3-9 Michigan is an elite program. Get a clue! Michigan didn't only lose nine games, they looked really, really bad doing it. You simply wish that the Wolverines ever had a coach of Paterno's stature. Schembechler did come close, but no bananas.

Winning in the Big Least is not a very difficult thing to do. Rich Rod will be gone after the 2009 season.

The only impact that this may have is if Clark gets his bell rung or worse in the Rose Bowl. From Devlin's standpoint, he could not enroll at another school in January if he's playing in the Rose Bowl. I don't blame the guy for doing what is best for Pat Devlin.

The Wolverines will be back after Rich Rod is gone. No one jumped ship after the Lions were
3-9 and 4-7 in 2003 and 2004. West Virginia tolerated the guy only because they were winning.

This is just too much fun to let it go. Too bad that big Pitt-Rutgers game wasn't on ESPN.
That one had national implications written all over it. It would have had an ESPN rating of about 0.23. Kudos to Rutgers for exposing Pitt much like Bowling Green did earlier.

There isn't an inconsistency in my statements. WVU being being in a joke of a conference doesn't make them a bad team. I stand by "WVU and the Seven Dwarfs." They simply need to get out of the conference. You obviously have no scores or statistics to prove otherwise, so you resort to a personal attack on me. Have you mugged any old ladies lately?

Can Rich Rod keep them in Ann Arbor? That's questionable. Several players and recruits have already jumped ship. There's more to this than a 2-5 season. I think that WVU tolerated the guy because they were winning. After the season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rich Rod also jump ship.

Did I ever say that WVU was lousy. You are just in a lousy conference (WVU and the Seven Dwarfs). Count how many of the big wins that you cite that are attributable to WVU. South Florida has made amazing stides for being Division I-AA in 2000, but they've proven that they are not ready for the big boys. WVU needs to do the same as BC, Miami and Virginia Tech ---- Leave the Big Least. The ACC would be a nice fit. You already have Maryland as a rival and you could play Pitt as an OOC game.

In 2-3 years, Rich Rod will have the Wolverines back to being the best team in Michigan or not. I've said from day one that RR was a big mistake. A Big Least coach simply can't understand what it takes to win in the Big Ten. RR coached up a storm versus Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple. That, my friends, is Michigan's problem. Say goodbye to Big Ten titles until RR is replaced plus five years.
