Edwards, despite the drops, is a freak. He's always open, and always having the ball thrown to him, because he's always open. He brings a lot of drops, but a ton of talent, and he's one of the Top 5 Receivers in the game.

No way I take Smith, a 2, and a 5 for him. He's worth a 1 and a 3, and I might not even take that. That's how good he is, and I really hope we hang onto him.

I'd love for you people to meet this man on the street and say these things to him. The kid can flat out play and has the best stiff arm I've ever seen.

All the Wells hating is hilarious. The dude runs a 4.4 forty, and against the big bad LSU Tigers last year he had 160 + yards. He'll run all over UT, and the Bucks might not win, but it won't be Wells fault. Ridiculous. I can understand hating on OSU, but the Wells' comments are just stupid.

I, being a Browns fan, hope they don't start Troy Smith, because he makes them a much better team than they are with Boller or Flacco. There's no way Flacco can make the transition from 1 AA to the pros without sitting out a while. And there's no way Boller's ever a decent QB. Smith though, is accurate, fast, makes plays, and wins. If I were a Ravens fan, he'd be the guy I'd want at QB.

Agree with Phil. 2 bad outhings have greatly increased his ERA, but he's 5-0 with a 3.19 ERA in his past 5 starts. I hope the Reds deal him though, to free up money, and his value right now's about as good as its gonna get.

Dagwood, Ross was one of the best defensive catchers in the game last year. I agree though that Valentin's a terrible defensive catcher. In relation to the story though, I really hope the Reds trade Ross for a prospect, as this season is lost anyway, and we need to build for the future.

I'm a huge Reds fan, and here's what I'd do if I had control over the Reds. Hang on to Griffey, he, Bailey, and Hamilton are the only players fans want to watch. Trade Dunn, Hatteberg, and Conine to get bullpen help/prospects. Call up 1B Joey Votto, Starting Pitchers Bobby Livingston and Phil Dumatrait, move Belisle to the pen, and trade Lohse to any1 who will take him. Free up the cap that these 4 make and go get some pitching in the off-season. And I think the Reds should get rid of Gonzalez, move Philips to SS, and make Freel the everyday 2B, and let Hopper be the starting Left Fielder, with Hamilton in Center.
