Problem is that if he wants to retain US citizenship he would be required to continue to file US income tax returns *and* likely pay some tax on the income above a certain level. That connection may be enough to force him in some way to continue his 'repayments'.

Tebow's not a troublemaker...His ego doesn't create problems...Good to have as 3rd string and as you(or someone) said, he could pop in on plays in a variety of positions...If Sanchez doesn't start to you really think he could mentally handle that? I tend to lean towards your suggestion that they keep him as long as possible thru training camp in hopes of a trade.

Not if that's their direction....He doesn't have the requisite skills...It does take quick reactions as well as some running ability to read-option.
