If you are going multiple places, but want to hit a ski resort, you are on the right track....Copper, Vail, Breckenridge are all right very few minutes off I-70 so they're very little detour off a straight line...Breck makes a great day trip...
Why not let states, counties and other local governments collect the taxes and spend them on services as they and their residents see fit? Today our votes are more diluted in the area of government where we send most of our tax dollars. Why not reverse that?

Local communities are a better judge(than the Feds) as to who needs assistance and who doesn't. Less waste and easier for the people to make changes in cases of corruption/ineffectiveness.
Agreed, but this getting the government involved in redistributing wealth leads to corruption, abuse and ridiculous situations. The Pythons showed this quite clearly in the "Dennis Moore" sketch.
Libertarians call this "Charity at gunpoint".

Ron Wolf was there for a long time as well.....
Right...

And then it all gets recreated on this thread. I'm sensing a pattern.
So, then what's this all over my shirt??

Oh...catsup...
BTW, I said pretty much the same thing to your buddy Friday and no one seemed to have an issue with that.
I wasn't attacking Tipsy's at all...What I found incredulous was Packergal coming here and telling everyone to calm down and get along when she visits other places to exchange barbs and insults and get things generally stirred up.

So, how was that a smartass attack on Tipsy's?
No respect for human life, but as environmentally conscious as Greenpeace. Blood is bio-degradable, crude oil isn't.
Is that what happens when you visit Tipsy's?
BTW, here's another quote from you and it's dead-wrong as I demonstrated. Care to concede the point?
Late term abortions are illegal, and no Democrat supports late term abortions. It is all spelled out in Roe vs Wade.

It is not the job of the president to come up with a budget it is Congress that is supposed to come up with an outline, they vote on it, then it goes to the Senate and then the President.
There's your quote...And I noticed you've not addressed any of the other points, nor *any* of the questions I've asked you. There's no shame in taking a Civics class when one needs it as desparately as you do.
What about Internet drive-by shootings?
more moola for the millionaires and billionaires to split, right? :-)
The Founders were smarter than most folks today. One purpose of the Electoral College is to prevent 'tyranny of the majority'. This country is a republic. That means each state should be represented. Take away the EC and just a few states could determine every presidential election. You have CA, NY, PA, IL, MI and WA that rarely vote for anything that isn't blue and that pretty much guarantees a Dem every time.
LOL...
Not being nosey, just curious...(same thing I guess..LOL) are you still in IN? I thought I'd read you were going to the Northwest...Figured there'd be less crime there.
Check this out...snopes is usually pretty good about sniffing out the truth...

I'm not trying to deify the guy, just thought the comment was funny. It was on live TV years ago right before Texas executed that woman that was the first one executed in some number of years...All the networks were covering it and making a big deal about it. One newslady decided to interview ole' Ted. Shoulda seen the look on her face when he answered her question.
Once when asked if he was in favor of the death penalty, Ted Nugent replied, "Yes. Immediately. At the scene of the crime.".
