it's too soon for Josh to leave; he needs another year or two before the OC role; OC is a big step for such a young guy, and if he fails, he'll have trouble being considered anywhere else; he's just too young to chance it .... especially at such a perennial powerhouse as Minnesota; Anyone know where Chuck Long ended up after his failure at San Diego St? he seems to have dropped off the map;

he knows how to produce good teams that play very good defense ... albeit the discipline is a little lacking; and I'm sure he knows what would happen if he were to be the HC of a title-contending school; it all comes down to how much does he want the NC ... 'cuz his chances of getting it at TCU are pretty slim; I can just imagine there are some ADs out there wanting to hire a coach that can defense the high-power offenses populating the sport; it wouldn't surprise me if he goes somewhere else in the next three years;

The hiring of Bob Stoops by Castiglione (ex-mizzou athletic director) revolutionized the Big12 and college football. Leach is and always will be brilliant. I wish him the best of luck and fortune wherever he goes. But, I'd prefer he stay in Lubbock. Great things are going on there, and if they ever start playing a good non-conference schedule they'll definitely put TTech on the college football map.

Why did the UW linemen piledrive then punch granger? three reasons: 1) Granger had it coming, 2) he'd been kicking their collective arses all day, and 3) UW was getting pummeled. they're just kids, and if you think that is shocking try watching the same aged 'kids' driving Abrahms tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles for the US Army.

Stoops and staff are handling this perfectly and so is Tyrone. Granger was hurt before the piledrive and punching, but i haven't been able to see if the triple team actually caused the injury or if his foot just got twisted/stepped on/etc.

I'm not knocking Granger, but i often wonder about his attitude since he got in off-field troubles with the law last year and had to sit out the Fiesta Bowl.

mike was always seen as a better coach than bob when they were both in norman; however,
mike's secondary still had its bad days;
those who thought so highly of mike then probably hoped that the additional dimensions of being a head coach ... such as management, administrative, philanthropic, and program leadership ... would not choke out his true strengths;
to me, mike's strengths are recruiting, motivation, player development, and onfield tactics but I
believe those have diminished somewhat due to the taxing nature of the job;
i cannot see him getting it done at 'zona now ... he's had enough time;
