I will agree that CW has made Notre Dame as mediocre as possible. The rest of the season is going to be hard to watch.

The loss is a dealbreaker for me. Tell you what...lets beat a ranked team (Pitt or Stanford) and win a meaningful bowl game...and then my mind would be open to Weis returning. But I don't think that will happen.

I haven't read a word of Clausen leaving early...except in rumor mills like this one. I think the way this season goes will have alot to say about when and if Clausen goes to the pros.

Also...the kid has turf toe, which I'm sure will affect any combine he'd be apart of. Poor showing in a combine? Low projection, low draft, less money....one more year of college football. Although this may be too rational for a kid who announced his intent, by arriving in a limo to the NFL Hall of fame...

Sharpley played Clausen's freshman year... even started several games. He's a better baseball player, and I believe he got drafted as a pitcher. He's got a strong arm, but is completely flat footed in the pocket.

I think he got his 5th year approved so Notre Dame would pay for his Master's degree in coaching...God know's that ain't cheap...

I'm wondering if anyone is going to make a legitimate comment about Clausen's ability in the NFL.

The reason why Clausen was the #1 QB coming out of High School was his size, his quick release, his accuracy, and the ability to throw the deep ball. The only thing I think he could learn, technically, from another year of college was to throw the fade better, get another year of leadership under the belt - and to handle pressure from really quick Linebackers.

Ci-sucko was an awful CB anyway. He got LIT UP during the ND game by a guy named Golden. A buddy of mine is a huge Michigan fan, and even he thought this kid was a liability on the field due to inconstant coverage.

He has 1,032 passing yards with 8 TDs and 2 interceptions, with 350+ yards and 5 td's running. I think Ingram's numbers are more impressive...

This whole facade of Vince being the future is doing nothing for the Titans. He doesn't fit the system, he doesn't read defenses well, and the Titans are set up for a Pro style QB. They should get one, and it shouldn't be Patrick Ramsey.

The quarterback is not the main problem, as Fisher said. But sure is a BIG problem that isn't going away.
