Posted Thursday April 11, 2013, About: Rob Gronkowski's surgery delayed because of infection
I'm no doctor but I'm thinking that the amount of alcohol Gronk drinks would kill "any" infections.
Posted Monday February 11, 2013, About: Pats great: Time Brady had a talk with Gronk
Every time Gronk does crazy stuff off the field that the Pats don't like its when he's hammered. Then when he's sober they tell him not to do that crazy stuff. Gronk says "I'm sorry I won't do it again" The he drinks & does it again. Sound familiar to any other drinkers?
Posted Saturday February 02, 2013, About: Patriots haven't talked contract with Wes Welker
Pats don't like to dish out the big $$$ especially to a player at Welker's age but if they don't sign Brady's security blanket they best find him someone else in the draft or free agency. Tough to replace 100+ catches the last 5 years
Posted Wednesday November 09, 2011, About: Haynesworth quit on Pats
When asked by the media after Sundays game why Haynesworth didn't play the final 24 minutes of the game Belichick said they were just rotating players. Well BB just rotated Haynesworthless right out the freakin door.
Posted Wednesday November 09, 2011, About: Morris blames McCoy for his injury
In the past several years I don't think "anyone" has tackled right. Actually I'm confused to what is the right or wrong way anyway. Seems to me the way the refs are tossing the flags after every tackle they may as well switch to flag football. Hey maybe I could even dust off my old Johnny U hightops & get out there with the fellas. That would be neat huh Wally?
Posted Monday November 07, 2011, About: Pats dynasty now broken
I heard the Pats are looking to sign both Albert Haynesworth & Chad Ochocinco. I think that may really help turn things around. Imagine those two on this team? Wow!
Posted Monday October 03, 2011, About: Holmes: Sanchez has to be better
Lets see Pats/Jets next Sunday. Yeah I might watch that.
Posted Tuesday September 06, 2011, About: Dolphins ticket sales worst in 28 years
I knew there was a reason other then the absence of snow that brought me from Beantown to Florida. I can get seats on the 50 yard line for Monday Night Footballs opening game of the season to watch my hometeam Patriots. I know I can't watch them on tv because the Dolphins have a lousy product they are putting on the field so no Miami fan in their right mind would dish out the money in these troubled times to go see them play. Therefore no sellout no tv. I have to look & see if the Pats are playing the other two lame Florida teams this year & order my tickets. Damn I love Florida!
Posted Monday August 08, 2011, About: New Pats DLs share unpleasant history
I guess its become pretty clear why Belichick didn't draft any D lineman in this past years draft. He had players in mind who hes been able to sign like Big Albert & a few surprises [Shaun Ellis] who hes signed away from other teams. The Patriots seem ready to show signs of finally having a pass rush. Forget running on them with Wilfork, Haynesworth & Shaun Ellis up front. And with an already good group of DB's & top flight DB Leigh Bodden returning from a year lost due to injury & Pro Bowler Dev McCourty in his second year I see the Patriots possibly winning some games by playing defence instead of waiting for Brady & Co. to score 30 plus points & trying to hang on at the end. Patriots & Jets fighting it out for the AFC Championship? Sounds like a plan.
Posted Friday June 10, 2011, About: Among veteran WRs Pats might consider: Sidney Rice
Bottom line on Pats. If they aquire any more offensive players to go with who they already have it will still not be good enough to win the Super Bowl. I'm still baffled why they haven't addressed the lack of some kind of pass rush. The media & most fans have been giving BB a free "genius pass" for the last couple of drafts. What I don't understand is Belichick is suppose to be a great defensive coach yet he won't draft any players to help him mantain that image. When you look at the stats the Pats have no problem scoring but are last in the league or close to it in most defensive catagories. Maybe he thinks if he can't find another Lawrence Taylor whats the point in drafting "any" Defensive players at all. As far as I'm concerned BB is out of excuses.
Posted Friday June 10, 2011, About: Kraft: Sides further along, inching closer
I think Kraft being Kraft with him being the eternal optomist is talking the talk therefore hoping all parties involved will walk the walk. He seems to be the only one saying the two sides are getting close. Hope he's right but it would be nice to hear at least one other person involved in the talks agree. If theres no football on Sundays I may have to hang with the wife & mother in law. Don't do me like that guys.
Posted Tuesday May 31, 2011, About: Matheny: Cousins 'went hunting' on Posey
You may be correct about that. It has been widely reported over the years that Rose was the cause of Fosses downfall. May be more to it. My point was things happen in sports & always will. Rose was actually my favorite player. Could have played middle linebacker in the NFL with more size.
Posted Tuesday May 31, 2011, About: Matheny: Cousins 'went hunting' on Posey
I actually have a signed Pete Rose picture of him wrecking Ray Fosses career by crashing into him in an "All Star game" back in the 70s" He didn't show any remorse when he signed it for me. As a matter of fact he liked the pic. Stuff happens
Posted Wednesday May 25, 2011, About: Dice-K era may be over in Boston
They should have tryed to unload him after he won 1 in a row a couple weeks ago. Good bye Good luck & hope to never see you again.
Posted Thursday May 19, 2011, About: Red Sox eyeing Millwood, Galarraga
I'd like to see Carl Crawford in the Red Sox rotation. That way they could have someone DH for him.
Posted Thursday April 14, 2011, About: Jets 'interest' in Moss a ruse to motivate Holmes?
You can go on You Tube and see Rex Ryan talking to Santonia Holmes about his benching. It looks like 2 babies in diapers babbling but its them. Very popular. Has like 19 million views. If you look close you can see the Jets logo on their diapers. Someone who knows how please post it on here. I think non Jets fans would enjoy it.
Posted Thursday April 14, 2011, About: Rondo has lost it, C's along with him
Celts can trade Rhondo to Patriots for Logan Mankins who wants out. This will give the Celtics the big man they need inside after the Perkins screw up. And the Patriots then can save a draft pick as Rhondo with his speed and long arms can play wide receiver giving Brady the deep threat he needs on the outside. Now if I can just figure out what the Red Sox can do with Dice K to straighten them out I think I can have the whole Boston sports scene back up and running for another championship season..... Why do you ask if I've been drinking?
Posted Tuesday April 05, 2011, About: Pats could surprise by taking CB
The Pats need help everywhere. O line, Pass rush, deep threat wr, Maybe a top notch RB and cornerback. So with all the picks the Pats have if anyone can possibly figure out who and what the mad scientist will do with this years draft you must be living in Belichicks mind. He could shock us all or disappoint us all but in the end he does what he thinks is in the best interest of the team and the organization. Hopefully its enough for another shot at the Super Bowl. If theres even a season this year.
Posted Monday March 28, 2011, About: Shaq, ever confident, may extend career
Kind of hard to believe Celtics fans are waiting for Shaq to come back as their savior for the their playoff run after trading Perkins. He was playing ok when healthy but do they really think hes the answer? Hey I'm from Boston so of course I'd like to see them win another championship. But I'm also a realist. This will be their last shot for some time to come after this year as far as I see it. And I think Ainge made a very bad move with the Perkins deal. And so far the way the Celtics are playing it looks that way. Shaq is more interested in marketing himself and even if he comes back and gives it his all at 39 and injured what difference will he really make? Not much I say.
Posted Thursday March 24, 2011, About: Lockout could keep Doc in Boston
Lets be realistic. This season will be the Celtics final shot to even get to finals for a very long time with all their injuries, aging star players and the so far mediocre and confused looking new guys they picked up so very late in the season. They are playing very erratically and without Kendric Perkins anymore helping with D and rebounding inside and no help from Shaq [is he ever coming back?] they are in serious trouble. With Rondo beat up and playing poorly its hard to be very optomistic about how this season will end up. Unless they get things together in a big hurry and get everyone back I think they may not even make the finals. But if they can somehow get into a groove and get some momentum going into the playoffs with all their playoff experience and them knowing this may very well be their last shot anything is possible. Doc knows all of this so if he's bailing after this year who could blame him. He's been a class act all the way since he arrived and got another banner hung in the Garden so whatever he decides to do I think is cool with me and I think with any basketball fans who know the game.
Posted Tuesday March 22, 2011, About: Bolts eyeing one of Pats' extra picks
Be Interesting to see if any of the college players show up for the televised draft day "event" If they don't maybe the NFL will have look alikes come out and shake hands with The Commish.
