DOOSH BAHG
theres a way you do things. What he did totally disrespected the franchise. If he was unhappy with his 5mil a year job, he had more than ample opportunity to tell the owner. An owner, by all accounts, is one of the most genuinely caring individuals in football. Atleast saban spent the whole year before carpetbagging his way to alabama.
anyhow, the next coach inherits a team with zero expectations, and brian brohm in the draft....... its really not as bad as it all seems
he was the guy that shreded ronnie brown's knee
he was the guy that picked ted ginn Jr.
he was the guy that got trent greens old fragile butt
he was the guy who's job it was to add youth to an ancient defense
he was the guy who traded Chris chambers.
the bottom line is if you give the best chef in the world nothing but crap to work with.....
Saying sean taylor was a thug is ridiculous. He was killed by thugs, I'll give you that. But his only contact with these fools comes from his sister dating one of their relatives.....There was no " hanging out at the club" or anything like that. Taylor was victimized in a home that he brought to bring his family closer together. And we all know how thuglike that is.
Perhaps if Mushnick used pacman jones as an example i would agree with him and maybe even enjoy the article.
as it stands, him throwing dirt on the memory of a man trying to defend his woman and 18 month old baby is disgusting. Show me the person who knew him ,outside of the media, to throw shade on the memory of Sean Taylor.
anyone?
Does he have an approved list of corners that he will publicly allow to be called "better" than him? what a boob.
as far as bradie james.....He led the team in tackles that day and arguably played his best game of the year statistically. So i don't see where kitna get's that "ineffective" thing from. Maybe he meant he didn't get sacked by him, but that's not bradies job.
haren for his career is 5 games above 500 and has a brief lifetime era of 3.82. Santana , however, 49 games above 500 and a lifetime era of 3.22
who knows maybe haren will one day strikeout 200+ in a year....like santana's done the last 4. Afterall, he's got more time to get better than santana because he's younger.... by a whopping 18 months.
Sure I'd love to trade my starting centerfielder and a piece of my rotation and a bunch of prospects for haren whose had 2 good years......
but i think not
he's smokin crack if he thinks he can mention haren in the same sentance as santana.
i think Johan Santana's the best pitcher in baseball and sure he'll be effective 30 out of 162 of the mets games.....
But i can't see trading reyes for him.
then i read the article and he actually indicated that the knicks have playoff talent, but just need to right the ship.
the scary part is he's going to be anouncing the game on TnT
What you see is somebody whose grown up in his big brothers shadow. He's never been as good as peyton and everyone knows it. When you look at his personal affect in an interview his bodylanguage says "I'm sorry I'm not peyton" shrugging his shoulders and barely making eye contact.
you know in the back of his mind after every play he's thinking
"Peyton would've made that pass"
"Peyton would've made that read"
"Peyton would have scored that touchdown"
"Peyton would've rescued that baby from a burning building....."
It's only a matter of time before fans start chanting " YOU"RE NOT PEYTON!!"
And that's when you'll see the real meltdown happen
I'd be really interested to see what the deciding factor was in the voting.
i think statistically atkins of colorado or zimmerman of the nats had better years with the glove and throwing
it looks like petrino is dismantling the team. Those guys who are there trying to play are watching other players who give the team a better chance to win now.....get booted.
I would like to see what Petrino's reasoning behind getting rid of your most productive interior defensive lineman.
do you want to deal with the guy that stuck you with JD Drew and that ridiculous contract?
The more I hear this clown talk the more you realize how full of bullsh!t he is.
if it did happen....then phil is just trying to blow smoke to try and keep the rest of the team in line.
otherwise its vecsey trying to start some static.
Like when a hater in your crew says " I heard billy bob said somethin about your sister...."
