This seems like a legitimate situation where a new Stadium is deserved. If you want to dance, you have to pay the cover charge. If you want to get lucky, you got to buy the drinks. You don't do either, someone is going home with the blonde.

If Denver was 3-6 right now and a pushover, the Giants probably wouldn't care so much. Maybe they should complain that they have to play in the NFC east and that is a harder division than the NFC west, and they should get a break about that too.

I think Brady's teams were mostly crap and he made that crap sandwich reasonably edible. I'm not a Brady fan, but I give him a ton of credit.

As for Aikman, as the team began to dissolve, he wasn't able to put the team on his shoulders like Marino or Elway. He wasn't the best QB of his generation, but he wasn't awful. Also, his rating and TD:INT ratio are more related to the Cowboys being able to run so well at the goalline. Why risk a TD, when you can force it in via the run and be all but garaunteed a TD.

That should have been a victory by the phins. I didn't watch the game, but anytime you are up by that much and you build your team around defense and the running game, you need to win the game.

Emmitt had them at 7-9, so I guess that makes you more of a Cowboys homer than Emmitt. They are 4-2 right now, so they will have to go 3-7 the rest of the way or 4-6 with you. Possible. Their December schedule is very tough this year.

They should be able to beat Seattle, Washington twice, and Oakland. So, that would put that an 8-8. I'd be hard pressed to say that they will not win at least one game against the Eagles, Giants, Chargers, Saints, or Green Bay.

I hope Reid is just trying to force the Giants to prepare for Westbrook. He shouldn't play, and if they let him, it is just another horrible example how teams don't really care about the longterm health of their players.

From a distance, I have to say I like what Arnold does as a govener. Granted he is a republican, so that is probably why. I hope the team that goes to LA changes their team colors to camo. That would be something.

I think it is interesting and telling. It means that Jerry has confidence in this team to do something and to win something. It also means that the talent is worth a 1st day pick. I would say trading Bennett for a 2nd or a 1st doesn't seem like a great value since we used a 2nd round pick to get him in the first place. Also, while the value for Scandrick, 5th round pick, would be better, he is a player and he is a productive player on the defensive side of the ball. It would be fool-hearty to trade him.

Who would I trade on this team for a 3rd round pick or better.

Adams, Flozell
Spears, Marcus
Newman, Terrance

But, I'm not sure they would draw the attention necessary.

This is so stupid. He spends a ton of cash in the previous years, and he's not spending much today. Well, you built up your team, and what are you going to do, go and pay free agents to sit the bench? Everyone wants Jerry to eat catfood for dinner, but that's just not going to happen. About 90% of the team is signed for 2010, so he probably won't spend a ton of money then either.

And as a quick point of fact, Jerry learned from Parcells that the 2nd tier of free agents are usually a better value which is why most of the free agents we signed last year were in that 2nd tier, Sensabaugh and Olshanksy. I'm glad the Cowboys are spending their cap room more wisely.
