Before Hleb transfered to Arsenal he was at VFB Stuttgart where he was absolutely awsome for the Bundesliga. But if you saw Bayern last night against FC Barcelona , Barca 4- 0 Bayern Ribery wasn't a factor. In the Bundesliga he's entertaining, against VFB Stuttgart in the DFB Pokal Bayern made it look easy and the Bayern bosses were all saying "Schwarze Ballet" ,since then they've sucked. The game last night was a demonstration of combination fussball at its finest by Barca I'm suprised SI hasn't run a story on it, I suspect Juergen Klinnsmann will be gone before next week. The way Barca put on that demonstration last night is how fussball should be played it was also a football philisophical victory for the sport of football. The same way as when Spain defeated Germany in the European Championship final.

Well, I do agree with you that children are more valuable. But we are discussing dogs. And the actions of one who abuses them. Are you doing something about it? Or just mouthing off? I don't agree that all people are more valuable than animals who can't fend for themselves. If Mr. Vick wants play in the NFL again he should become a spokesman against dog fighting and prove that he's turned over a new leaf. As for refering to you as cold-hearted, I apologize. I have 4 children and 2 dogs. My children aren't abused and neither are my dogs. I also know many people whom of which I much rather prefer the company of my dogs. And in my experience with people who are involved with dog fighting, dogs are better people.

I can't feel sorry for anyone involved in dog fighting and have a hard time believing that a person who's character orients them in that direction has any concern for anyone but themselves. What does race have to do with it? You commit a crime and get caught you go to jail. Simple as that. Whether the NFL wants to re-instate him thats for theleague to decide. Depends on whether the league wants to be seen as a league of convicted felons or not. Pete Rose was banned from baseball for life for his sins. Didn't hear anyone claiming racism there.

I live in Germany but I recently spent 5 months in my hometown Alb. New Mex. Needless to say I was very shocked after a 20 year diet of european football on a daily basis to have to sit thru 90 torturous minutes of MLS. They sucked! The skill level doesn't come close to 4th level in Germany. To be honest watching the mexican league was be far more entertaining. It did do one thing for me though. Made me realize how much better we are at baseball than the europeans. By the way my 17 son who has duell U.S./ German citizenship won't be having any trouble getting scholarship offers to play at a number of prominent US universities. Growing up in europe does have its advantages when it comes to soccer.
