I love Molitor, but it seems to be a tall order for anyone to get this team to play even .500 ball in the latter part of the season.

People need to understand something about these teams before they start ripping this trade rumor. As already has been mentioned, the Brewers are going to lose Fielder no matter what. Hardy is a talented shortstop, but he is extremely streaky. His numbers are also better because of the fact that he has batted around the likes of number producers such as Braun and Fielder. A young, talented top of the rotation pitcher such as Cain would be a huge addition for the Brewers considering they are going to lose Sabathia and most likely Sheets. They can't afford to sign top tier pitchers in free agency. If the Brewers were to try to make this trade it would also indicate that they think Alcides Escobar is ready to step in at shortstop.
