I don't get how Berbatov is more of an out-and-out striker than Tevez. They are both well rounded, good passing modern forwards with Tevez the better dribbler. For total goals last year, it was 23 - 19 for Berbatov (in 52 vs 48 games), so the "upgrade" always seemed stupid and mostly only helps United by removing him rivals.

I'd rather have Tevez though, and his hustle and desire over Berbatov's brooding and tendency to disappear from matches when he isn't in the mood. Free Carlos Tevez!
