Don't like it pete?, then try stopping the opposing team once in a while. Try coaching them rather than trying to be their buddy.
Posted Sunday October 18, 2009, About: Weis defiant after Irish loss
Weiss said that most fans thought the Irish were done for when they were down by 20. Well, they were right. Another loss for Notre Dame, nothing to be proud of.
Posted Thursday August 27, 2009, About: Bradley accuses some Cubs fans of racism
Of course some Cub fans are racist as are some members of every other element of American society. However, I think that fact has nothing to do with their feelings about Bradley. More likely its his bad attiude and general air of bufoonery he presents in his actions and his speech.

Me too.
Posted Wednesday January 28, 2009, About: A-Rod laughs at Torre's book barbs
It amazes me that this team continues to criticize Rodriguez. He is arguably the best player in the league and because he does not kiss the fans or NY media's arse he gets ripped by them. I remember back in 05 this debate about who was more valuable to the team; a guy (Jeter) hitting .280 with 12 homers and 65 RBI or A-Rod with 54 homers and 150 RBI. I found it laughable. If the Yanks don't want Rodriguez I wish they'd trade him to the Giants; we'll gladly take him.
Posted Saturday January 17, 2009, About: Source: Bucs players wanted Gruden gone
Those same players that Dungy couldn't win with? Hah! Gruden took em to the Super Bowl right away. Tony Dungy........what a joke.
Posted Thursday January 15, 2009, About: Will Carroll talk Sanchez into staying?
Man, I hope Carroll has his salesman shoes on. I'd hate to lose him for next year especially since Mays, Pinkard and Gable have said they are coming back. With Tebow and Bradford returning to their respective teams next year, I think we need him in order to compete for the bogus BCS title.
Posted Thursday January 08, 2009, About: Maualuga apologizes to Erin Andrews
Penn State was dominated just like every other sorry Big 10 team. They only made it respectable agianst SC's fourth stringers late in the 4th quarter. They had no business even being on the field with SC
Posted Tuesday January 06, 2009, About: Scouts: Tebow an NFL star--or a bust
He'll be a Vince Young-type QB only much smarter with better leadership ability.
Posted Saturday January 03, 2009, About: Report: Barkley cites sex as reason for speeding
And this is the chump we are supposed to take seriously when he criticizes the Auburn hire? This guy is a chimp in a suit; nothing more.
Posted Monday December 29, 2008, About: How Texas lost top recruit to OU
""""Along the way, McFarland was wined and dined. He visited the house of the president of Oklahoma, where he was promised a spot in the prestigious President's Leadership Class. He rode in a Hummer stretch limousine in Los Angeles. He attended parties, including one in Dallas, where he said there was free alcohol, drugs and young women taking off their clothes"""

And we wonder why there are so many problems in college athletics.

Posted Sunday December 14, 2008, About: Has Phillips lost control of Cowboys?
You can't lose what you never had. Don't feel sorry for Phillips though; he knew what he was getting into when he took the job. He's making a ton of money to do what many, many others would kill to do.
Posted Sunday December 14, 2008, About: Sources: Witten, Owens exchange terse words
Man, Ttat Witten guy sure is a problem. Trade him to the 49ers for Vernon Davis immediately.
Posted Tuesday November 25, 2008, About: Another Warrior wants out of Golden State
What I can;t understand is why they would give a first round pick for this guy............conditional or not.
Posted Sunday October 19, 2008, About: USC's McKnight out against WSU
....Averaged 10 yards per carry.
Posted Sunday October 19, 2008, About: USC's McKnight out against WSU
Ill have to keep my eye on him. He might be able to fill in nicely for Bradford now that he's out for the year. Perhaps with some reps he'll get there. White got a shot right away because he was so highly touted coming out of High School. I liked his game but still can't get over him not being able to push the pile and going down so easily on the 4th down play against Texas that would have clinched the game. He reminds me of the Roger Craig situation; all the good things he did in his career wiped out by the fumble as the Niners were running out the clock against the Giants in the NFC Championship game. It's too bad, but that's how it goes.

Who is this "Green" cat with all the yards against Wazzu? Never heard of him and I haven't missed an SC game in years.
Posted Saturday October 18, 2008, About: USC's McKnight out against WSU
If you are referring to Sanchez being better than Booty last season, I disagree. I thought Booty played better than Sanchez did last year. I thought Sanchez was adequate last year and, with a few exceptions, Stanford being one because of his injury, I think Booty was excellent. Sanchez looks much improved this year but I have a bad feeling about him. I see him as someone with enormous talent whose penchant for injuries is going to seriously hamper his career. Something about him brings the word "snakebit" to mind. Don't know why, but I see him as someone who will constantly be hurt. I hope I'm wrong. He seems like a nice young man.

That's another thing I don't like about the rotation thing. The backs always feel they can't make a mistake or they'll come out and it could cause them to play tight. I agree with you on the rythm thing as well.
Posted Friday October 17, 2008, About: USC's McKnight out against WSU
I do believe though that the coach owes some loyalty to the players he convinces to come to his school. I'd like to believe that the best players play but that should not always be the case. Sometimes you get clowns like Pacman Jones, who even though he may be the best player at that position on the team, brings the team down with the way he behaves. I love Stephon Johnson's running style but I also like the way McKnight appears to be cruising and then just explodes upfield. I like both of them as well as Gable. The thing that worries me though about this rotation though is, not who gets the reps fairly or unfairly, that is a matter of opinion. What worries me is the lack of continuity we get by constantly changing backs. The line has to get used to three different running styles. I also think many backs get stronger and get a better feel for the game when they play more.
