good gosh. Everybody is all over his ass everyday about frickin' everything. Yeah he has screwed up, but good Lord, I have never seen a "dead coach walking" like this guy.

"The Cowboys stand for everything that's wrong with the NFL."
_________________________________________________________

And I could argue the same about the hated Yankees. But it doesn't matter and it won't change. The Yanks have a 300 million dollar payroll but yet a team with a 45 million dollar payroll is supposed to be able to compete? It's a stupid argument, I know, but it is what it is.

Perfectly said....

As if non Cowboy fans don't take shots at the Cowboys, like everyday. Next....

I don't think it necessarily opens a can of worms. The hall of fame is a political thing just like everything else in this world. Nothing is fair.

Whether or not he deserves to be in is anybody's guess...But I did see part of an NFL network show the other day that was titled "10 best players NOT in the HOF".
It's never going to be completley fair.

Agreed. Everyone can say that they would take him until you watch him dismantle your franchise.

sure, Steeler fans can say "we could handle him, yadda yadda" but you know what, you can't. Nobody can or has.

I was one of them. I really thought, especially after the crying incident that he really realized how good he had it.

Stupid me.

well said

Then you can have him. Put him on the Steelers roster and watch him go to work. Lord knows nobody else wanted him. Buffalo has come out and said that the main reason they signed him was for publicity. Ralphy is getting a little worried about the state of the Bills franchise and needed to do something to spice it up.

Kinda like when the Mavs signed Rodman.

Well then, my friend, that works both ways.

Who does Dallas have on it NOW that's a head case? Why do you expect from Romo what you wouldn't from anyone else.

Please tell me a team that has WON A SB WITH HIM ON IT!!???

NONE. Addition by subtraction.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
That's not necessarily true..

Eli got 90 million and you want me to believe that he's going to stand up to, well, whoever the hell they have? NO way.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
Again, I say...No team has won a SB with TO on it.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
No, he was in over his head is all I'm saying.

Not all QB's have to be leaders of their teams. Eli??? Brady Quinn??? hardly.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
they gotta win early. There (Dallas) stretch at the end is one of the hardest schedules in the league at that point.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
TO also dropped more passes than any other WR and terribly mis read his routes.

Wow, I agree with a skins fan.
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
Nobody is blaming everything on TO, but come on.. No team has won a SB with TO on it.

He tore through the San Fran locker room and the Eagles locker room. The only difference is that they had stronger coaches and QB's (mentally) to take on TO. We didn't have either. Romo isn't confrontational. With our 13-3 season, Romo was spectacular. TO was happy.....and then, TO became unhappy and Romo struggled...

I agree. He just has to focus on ball control. He can't give up the turnovers that he did last year. That needs to be priority #1
Posted Tuesday August 11, 2009, About: Owens: Jerry Jones ran for the woods
I ask myself this everyday. I don't know. I just am. It seems different with him. Maybe b/c he's had so much chit to put up with latley...who knows...We saw glimmers of hope with the 13-3 season and then what happened to the team when he went down last year. He's got it, it's just can he use it?
