Great point texex! Landry learned his leason quickly as the QB rotation didn't last too long. However I do see some benefit in doing so if done right. The reason that it didn't work back in the day was that Landry was literally rotating QB's EVERY play.

If anything it could be a great bluff sending Warner in once or twice a quarter. Kinda like the way that the Bears have Devin Hester "playing" wide recever. Dude has yet to log a reception yet when they plug him into the lineup the defense sometimes keys in on him.

Not trying to be political but holy crap this move was such a no brainer. After that showing last game I am surprised that he didn't just voluntarily demote himself.

The responsibility (or lack there of) falls squarely on the shoulders of the team Dr. There was a rule change this year that states a player can't return from a concussion without the say so of the team doc. It used to be that the doc would advise and the player would just decide. I was VERY surprised to see him back in there.

I like Chet's idea of having a non biased Dr's opinion. I also think it should be automatic that if you get a concussion, you sit the rest of that game.

Great point djrox. What kind of an ugratefull ahole holds out this long? I mean he had to have known that he was going to make bank no matter what deal he signed. It's insulting to the game. I hope he doesn't play a single down this year.

Man I am totally sick of hearing about this. As a Falcons fan I personally have moved on. He just isn't part of the team anymore and if the allegations are proven to be true I won't even consider him a decent human being.

He should be ashamed for having the world at his feet then being so dumb about it and not being grateful for what he had and basically throwing it all away to indulge a personal habit. That's what sickens me. There are so many people in this world who would die to have just a fraction of the talent/fame/fortune he has(had). He basically insulted us all.

Granted it was only the second day of training camp, but I actually attended the afternoon practice. Harrington looked the sharpest of all of them with Redman not far behind. I have to say that there were several throws from Shockly that just didn't look good at all. A couple of floaters that looked like they got away from him.

If there is a silver lining to any of this crap is that they have a new coach with a new system so that other guy would have had a learning curve as well.

I have heard reports that he expects to be paid as if he were a top ten pick. What the rationale is there? I have no idea. Just because the league invited him out to the draft because they THOUGHT he would be some sort of really high draft pick is no reason for him to think he should be compensated as such. Sign your contract, get into camp and show your stuff already.
