Posted Thursday March 20, 2008, About: Humpy: Drivers don't like new car
Amen on the confort level. When teams get these things figured out they will make the handling better. If you are using your notes from last year, throw them away. TESTing TESTing TESTing. The drivers don't want to test because they are not getting extra mony for testing. You millionaire cry babies, get in that car and test, who knows, it might save your life someday! See Goofyear racing tires comments about Stewart and his testing last year. He didn't want to participate and give goofyear feed back. Guess some people are just to GOOD to test. But they are the first to complain as did Stewart Two weeks ago. All I have to say is waaaaa waaaaa waaaaa, to all the drivers like Stewart. You are not the great one above, you are not the modern day intimidator, no body died and made you boss. I pray every week for you Stewart, but it is obviously not working. Why do I waste my time, there are more important things to pray for, like the safety of our troops, and that the new President be a lot smarter than Busch. No President Busch, you did not have to clean up daddys mess. Bring our troops home NOW so that I can Start to pray for Stewart again!
Posted Thursday March 20, 2008, About: Hamlin's fuel cell problems
Here it is in a KNUTT shell, The pick up is on the rightside, obviously, most tracks are banked all the way around to the left or infield. When you are low on gas and cruising slow around the tack the fuel moves to the left. Maybe a pickup on both sides of the tank? or maybe go in for a splash because you are LOW! And they call these guys professional drivers. Well guess what people, professional drivers are the men and women who cruise the road in 18 wheel tracktor trailers. Lots of these nascar drivers are idiots and some of them have help from their crew chief for being that way. Shut up and drive and if you know you are low on fuel, discuss it with your crew chief and make a pit. That car had to be sputtering while running pace lap speed. Crew chief is not in the car and the driver needs to have a conversation with the boss man above on the pit box. He can't hear your car sputtering.
LACK OF DESIGN, Give me a break!
SORRY PPL I will cut down on comments in the future!
The left saide banking is to allow the water to run off in case of rain. The guys operating the jet dryers do a great job, but you have to have a little help with track design, and the great man above.

Posted Thursday March 20, 2008, About: Junior's fans blame crew chief
Give it up. Everytime something doesn't happen the way JR. fans want, then they blame everyone. Hey Jr Fans, things have changed with Jr., NASCAR, with the new team and so forth, but he is not going to win every race. And the way it is going with Gibbs and the Toyota's, he might have no chance at a win this year. The year of the Hendrick Motor Sport is gone. They should have kept Kyle Busch and get rid of Mears. No offence Casey I still can not figure out how you get rid of one of NASCAR's best driver at this time and keep a driver that has little success. Good job getting Jr. Mr. Hendricks, but what were you thinking.......Mears over Kyle Busch. Money can't be an issue, you have been the premier race team for the past several years. I would have fired the person who made that decision.
Posted Thursday March 20, 2008, About: Economy slows down NASCAR
I agree with this article and have said that mulitiple times, but everyone tells me I am nutts. "R. U. KNUTTS Rev. Davey" said my brother Mike. I told him watch and see, the ticket prices are going to rise due to the lack of fans showing up. Chicago tickets are expensive, I guess because of the market. Wish I could get a $25 to $45 ticket like some markets. The economy is tuff and especially tuff here in the Chicago area.
The other problem I have besides the cost of tickets, is the availability of tickets.
Here in the Chicago Market you can not buy just NASCAR tickets, you have to buy the whole season tickets to every event. NASCAR, just a heads up, I watch NASCAR, I follow NASCAR, but I don't care about the IRL and the outlaw racing.
Want me t o buy tickets in the future, the don't be associated with all the different racing organizations. Sell me NASCAR tickets and ONLY NASCAR tickets. Remember night race this year and with the cost of gasoline expected to reach $4.50 a gallon this summer, there may very well be a lack of fans. And don't raise the tickets price because fans are not showing up. Todays economy is tuff and loyal fans want to participate. Give us a chance ! Tickets prices are already outrageous here in Chicago.

HMS will not have the budweiser sponsorship. They have no alcohol sponsors because of their religious beliefs. I guarantee you one thing, who ever is going to sponsor Dale Jr is going to cough up a BIG chunk of change.
Posted Friday July 06, 2007, About: Busch brothers together again?
A busch and a shrub on the same team could make for some great racing. Although they have a name like they belong in the ground, they are both extremely talented drivers who will be around for many more years.

It is time NASCAR goes after Stewart for puttin cars into the wall at 190 MPH and lay off the drivers who constantly go out there and give it tthere all. If NASCAR doesn't start policing everyone even the "BIG" stars they are going to lose loyal fans like myself. Earnheart Sr. did die, but I will bet my house that he didn't make Stewart the NASCAR enforcer.

Put the Busch brothers together and they will have a great team and a championship within a couple years.
