there's nothing new here - regurgitation of talk radio blather. why is it the pundits & talking heads (who simply blow smoke to fill the void) can kiss dimaggio's ****, or worse, teddy ballgame's, for being the 'last .400 hitter'. williams wasn't even the highest avg. for a season, or a lifetime (cobb beat him in hits & rbi, so why is teddy 'the best'). how is it we can talk about these cats ever time someone hits in 25 straight, or .400 for 1/3 of a season, but now the only perfect season of the NFL is a pain in the **** because mercury is 'annoying'. get real, get a life & knock of the parrot show. rome & svp have no idea what they're saying - they speak to fill air, pay bills & nurture their big egos. talking heads in sports are like critics of art - can't do, so they judge. it's all taste...& very unoriginal.

jj's a micromanaging screwball. his meddling is bound to mess up the girls. after al davis passes, i can see him taking over as new host for 'tales from the crypt'.
