By playing Dirk pretty well, you mean still get above average his stats? What about Dwight Howard, I hear ATL has a 3rd string Center in Collision thats nicknamed Howard Stopper, yet Dwight still went for 46. You see how naive those statements are?
What you state absolutely makes no sense. Dirk goes to the FT in the playoffs more then those players you've mentioned. Besides you're now mentioning Lebron into the equation? No where did I state that Lebron is worse then Dirk. 2 different positions. One is a slasher while the other is a shooter that goes to the rim. How does being more popular justify being better lol? You're argument at best is quite robust lol.
DId you not see what he can do in teh 4th quarter? He's scored 32 points in the 4th quarter ALONE the past 2 games in the playoffs and has went to the FT line over 30 times. What does that tell you about not going to the rim. The play of the game last night was when he attacked the rim on Nicholas Batum and dunked over Aldridge.
And the Mavs weren't? They lost both of those games under 5 points each. Dirk was back for his first game after missing 9 games with that high ankle sprain. Oh and they didn't have their 2nd best player in Terry. GTFO sir.
Malone, no doubt one of the best PF's of all time, but not ahead of Dirk when it's all said and done. Malone played with one of the top 4 PG's of all time in Stockton, and still couldn't win a ring. Dirk has never played with a player that made 2 All-Star teams while with Dallas. Dirk is way more clutch then Malone ever was. Besides Dirk is one of the 4 guys in NBA history to average 26 ppg & 11 rpg in the playoffs. He also leagues the league in the past 10 years in most game winning shots and percentage.
Dirk will go down as one of the greatest players to ever play the game. By far the one of the most under appreciated players to play the game. I don't think it's too farfetched to say that he's the 2nd best power forward to ever play the game behind Duncan. Even then Dirk has always had the upper hand against Duncan head to head including the playoffs.
The guy is one of the toughest, most athletic, best shooting big man ever.
Lebron is coachable. He just needs someone with a proven pedigree instead of always bringing in a coach whose never coached before. Minus Silas, because that guy is an average coach at best.
Bring someone like Phil Jackson, Popvoich after Duncan retires, Rivers after the Big 3 retire. Those guys know how to discipline and kick a player's rear end and hold them accountable.
I agree. That white girl that took advantage of Kobe in Colorado is what Gloria is to in Ohio with Delonte. Gloria just doesn't have a big enough ass to cover multiple states at one time.
Now Lostwill put your manhood reputation to the test. Would you turn down Gloria?
I'M TOTALLY LOVING THESE PICTURES LOL. I'M TYPING IN CAPS CAUSE I JUST SPILLED SODA ON MY MACBOOK, AND I'M MAD. HOWEVER THE MICHAEL JORDAN AND SCOTTIE PIPPEN PICTURE AS WELL AS THE CARMELO ANTHONY PICS MADE MY DAY. LOOOOOOL
Is Gloria considered a cougar? I could have sworn she was the spokeswoman for CougarLife.com, of all the hot groupie girls that are provided to these NBA players for their pleasure....Gloria is the one that Delonte chooses? Seriously?
Absolutely agree. I think though down the line DRose can win another MVP when Dirk is past his prime! Rose is still so young, so help out Dirk :)! DRose is hands down thebest PG in the game. Only other comparable player is DWilliams. Though his stock went down the drain, because he was banished to Siberia.
Of course I am, but look at the facts. Dirk is putting up better numbers then the year he won his 1st MVP. He's averaging career highs in FG% - 54%, 3PT% - 43%, getting to the line more, 88% FT. They're 44-10 with him in the lineup. It's true that he's lost to the Bulls twice, but lets not forget that both of those loses came down to the final possession, and one of those losses he just came back from that high ankle sprain.
He even has a better record then the Bulls at this point. Dirk's team are 10-4 against the Spurs, Bulls, Heat, Celtics, Lakers, Magic. 3 of those losses were either when he was injured or was the first game back from being injured!
I obviously would rather win a championship then see my favorite player win a MVP. However I think Dirk should be in consideration as a co-favorite with Rose for the MVP.
