Dirk for MVP. Mavs without Dirk went 2-8. Before Dirk got hurt, they had the 2nd best record in the NBA, coming off a win against the best team in the NBA. Without Dirk, the Mavs would be a lottery team.

Dirk would beat Lebron in my book because the Mavs won the season series 2-0 despite obviously seeing the Cavs are a lottery team without Lebron. Not to mention Dirk is having a career year in FG%.

Amare is having a great season without a doubt, and should be given consideration. However the Knicks are only 4 games above 500, good for the 6th seed at best and on pace for a 42-40 record.

I personally think Lebron is by far the best player in the league. Majority of the world thought of the same until what happened in the summer. Despite the way he handled himself, you can't diss how great he is. Perception of character, has nothing to do with the talent he possess. He has the most upside and the most athletic of Durant and Kobe.

Nothing can compare to the mascots of THE university of Texas and Auburn.

I think its better for the game. College Football has never been more popular as it has been now. I am an Auburn student, yet I talk up about Alabama only when we aren't playing them or in terms of comparing our conference to others. However the rivalry has never been as strong as it has been now. I mean I just went to the Alabama-Florida game last night, yet I still don't passionately like either teams. Yet you still have to love the conference and have a great time.

When it is gameday or approaching which, all hats are off when it comes to rivalries and pure hate.

Again...how? South Carolina and Arkansas to me at this point look pretty even. Both are highly talented and ranked. However Arkansas gets the benefit of the doubt from dropping as much as South Carolina, because they lost against #1 Alabama.

You can't possibly tell me that Penn St. and 2 cup cake games are more impressive then beating Clemson, Miss St. and 1 cupcake team.

Penn St. as we all know was vastly overrated and garbage. They have a true freshman starting for God's sake. They aren't even contenders in their own conference. At least Clemson is favored to win their division in the ACC.

No doubt Alabama is the class of the conference, but to say Auburn can't beat Alabama this season is absolutely ludicrous. If they both run the table, they will be in the top 5 when they face each other.

DJ, you're losing my vote. How did Auburn barely beat Arkansas St.? They beat them 56-26 lol. If that doesn't constitute as a beat down, then I don't know what does.

Besides you say that Auburn beating South Carolina wasn't impressive? Yet you mention immeadility afterwards as a big deal for Alabama. They will have to TRAVEL to the gamecocks.

Also Auburn beat a tough Clemson team that is favored to win their ACC division title and maybe even the conference. Not to mention beating a SEC team on the road on national TV in Miss St. always gets you style points.

I like what Auburn has done and I think this is the year where they can beat Bama.

I find it hysterical that people are making such a big deal about this, now that Boise St. is ranked in the top 5. No one gave a rats ass, before the season started...
No, absolutely not. I think that your arguments completely obliterate left's arguments thus far. You are correct in that regard even though I disagree with your statements. Though I can't deny that your statements have been superior then that of your opponent. I must have been caught up in the heat of the moment and I am sorry for ruining the integrity of this TD.

For that I am switching unless left pulls a miracle.

WAR DAMN EAGLE!

I approve of this TD.
I agree with left. Oklahoma City Thunder have thus far proved nothing to me that they will become the 2nd best team behind the Lakers..

Remember how we were all riding on New Orleans Hornets 2 years ago with CP3 having an MVP year finishing behind Kobe Bryant? What has happened since then? 2 abysmal seasons. Anything can happen.

I'll take the more experienced, season-vet team with a full training camp with Butler, Haywood, and Chander to mesh with Dirk, Marion, and Kidd.

I think Lebron will win it yet again. Just because you have 2 other superstars in your cast, doesn't mean you still can't win it. If I remember correctly Larry Bird and Magic Johnson each won multiple MVP's in their respective tenure, and each of their squads consisted of 2+ HoF'ers in their primes.

Lebron James still is the best player in the league, and he is only going to get better. Are we all forgetting that he is still a couple years off from even hitting his prime?
