Posted Sunday November 15, 2009, About: Michigan QB denies transfer rumors
"A win over OSU would be nice and welcomed but it won't salvage the season. On the bright side, RR isn't Charlie Weis."

Both of these sentences are two of the funniest I have read in a while. Thank you Warden.

No! Don't fire RichRod! I'm his biggest fan.
Posted Saturday August 15, 2009, About: Pryor's head-scratching 40m time
Don't let that dude from NY get to you. What in the hell does New York City know about college football? Now that is a state known for great Saturday football tradition...whatever. Anyhow, here is a list of the current NFL players (some impressive names on that list)
http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=17300&AT CLID=1180286

And OSU has the 3rd most players to make the NFL in the history of the draft:

Incredible. Looking forward to watching more future NFL stars here in a few weeks. Go Bucks.
Posted Saturday August 15, 2009, About: Pryor's head-scratching 40m time
Whether those on this board have little respect for the 40 or for Pryor matters little. This kid is a tremendous athlete and mature for his age. His work ethic is impressive along with his demeanor. He will only be better this year with all of that playing time under his belt from last year. His challenge will be leading a team that lost a lot of talent. OSU is like a shark's mouth though. When the outer cutters move on, the one's behind roll forward. Such a highly successful football program and its storied past should garner more respect from some of you on this board. I LOATHE Michigan, Notre Dame, and USC but I respect their programs big time. There are about a dozen teams that are consistently at another level when it comes to college football and the Bucks are one of them. Deal with it. It isn't going to change. They will continue to be a factory for the NFL, win a boatload of games and make Ohio damn proud of their play particularly since a huge portion of the team is made up of Ohio kids. And more championships will be won.

Well said.

I can say as an OSU fan that I have historically (40 years) respected Michigan's coach as part of the rivalry. I do not respect Rich Rodriguez.

I'll drink to that.
Posted Saturday March 21, 2009, About: Barkley takes shots at Cleveland, Milwaukee
I can't believe this, but I am agreeing with a Wolverine fan. Barkley is obnoxious, sounds illiterate and although raw in his demeanor, adds little value to the show. I can't believe he collects a pay check for that.
Posted Thursday March 19, 2009, About: Jets need Mangini to land Cutler?
As a lifelong Browns fan (yes, I know...) I can tell you that the 3-way won't work if we are left with Anderson as our QB. The reason the Browns were initially interested in a Denver deal at all was Cutler. I realize that Anderson was a pro-bowler the year before last but he isn't the answer for us. The majority of fans (me included) want no part of him as the starter. He is immobile, stares down receivers and has ZERO leadership ability. It just isn't in him. We were looking forward to seeing Quinn get some reps this year and if not Quinn, a proven starter like Cutler would have been even more intriguing. Anderson is not only not intriguing but will sour most of us to the team. If we got great picks that is one thing, but one would then need to be used on a QB and this year's QB class is overrated at best. Browns need to either keep Quinn, get Cutler, and either way, build their defense.

Yep, the same Ohio that kicks Wolverine **** year in and year out. Looking forward to doing more of that this year too. How far is Novi, MI from Ann Arbor? You might actually get to hear the screams from a distance.

Hey Cincy, I will give you Braylon Edwards for him straight up.

Solid as they get, 34 or not. Just one of those guys you want to have on your team.
Posted Saturday February 28, 2009, About: Niners interested in Warner
Won't happen but I would LOVE to see my beloved Brownies move Anderson and have Warner there to groom young Quinn. That would be golden. Yes, a man can dream...
Posted Saturday February 28, 2009, About: Why Manny turned down Dodgers
37 years old and turning that down? Manny's shape hasn't exactly been improving over the years and 37 year old bodies are a helluva lot easier to injure then 27 year old bodies. Man-child needs to take the money and realize that few teams would pay that for what could potentially be limited play should he hurt himself.

Pryor played in a lower division in HS also and he has mad skills.

Cavs lose to Lakers in 7 this year but win it all next year. LeBron resigns and stays in Cleveland.

Posted Monday October 06, 2008, About: Anderson's job on line in Cleveland
I found it odd that even on a bye week my beloved Brownies were a 3 point underdog. LOL. Sorry. Hey, we have a win under our belt now and will look for another next Monday night against the Giants. Hopefully this will be one of those games wherein the underdog is completely overlooked. Much like the Chiefs when they beat the Broncos. It's the NFL. It will be a much bigger game for the Browns than the Giants. The Browns slip to 1-4 and the players check out for the rest of the season. You get a big win against the defending champs and move to 2-3 you start believing in yourself. Balls to the wall game. If Anderson struggles like he did the first half against Cincy you yank his ****. That is if you would like to coach another day RC.
Posted Sunday September 28, 2008, About: Tressel gets O-line's attention
How many times do we have to see posts on these boards about how overrated we are? Or how overrated USC is? Or someone else? Someone HAS to be rated in the top 25 and the way that several upsets have taken place, who ISN'T overrated? If you say Oklahoma, ok well WHO for you is worthy of being ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on. The fact of the matter is. Ohio State played a horrible game to the then #1 team in the nation. They paid for it big time by dropping 10 spots in the ranking. Now teams are losing in front of them and they are reclimbing. Someone please explain why they shouldn't. Wisconsin on the road will be tough next week but we saw for the first time yesterday who this year's Buckeyes team is. That backfield is superb. But since everyone probably thought Wisconsin was overrated too hence the loss to Michigan, our win won't me a damn thing. Right?
Posted Friday September 26, 2008, About: Tressel gets O-line's attention
Penn State Fighter, I suppose it did come off as brazen. I should have emphasized that I believe the Bucks will win because it is at the Shoe. We haven't lost to Penn State in the Shoe since 1978 and that includes quite a few games played there. Plus I am going to be there so they sure as hell better not lose. Additionally, it will be my 9 year old's first Buckeye game.
I respect Penn State and I want them to be strong this year. I am sick of Big Ten smack talk and hope the conference gains respect overall.
