We're talking about a team that claimed Jake Holland was running a 4.5 40 before last year. They tend to make those numbers sound better than they are.
Pretty much everyone agrees it is BS for him not to be there. He owns the record for sacks in a season and in a game. If Bruschi is in the CFHOF having 52 sacks against lesser competition, DT should be. And DT had a HOF career in the NFL, even though cut short a few years.
Having visited LA and San Diego, I think the weather might be the toughest. Thesummers I went to California, the weather was sunny but the humidity wasn't oppressive at all. Here in Alabama, the summers are just brutal. And the summer usually runs from about the beginning of May through the end of September and usually a week or two into September.

Of course, the heat from being in Hell probably saps his energy.
I'm not originally from Alabama. It does have some nice scenery and it has a wide range of scenery since it has mountainous/hill type terrain in the North, and flatter toward the South and some nice beaches in the Fort Morgan area. Lots of trees in all areas.
No offense to Notre Dame, but why is it 2 of these top recruits seem to get there and decide they want to leave? (I think there have been more, can't remember names - a WR?, not sure).
Vanderdoes and Kiel.
As for Manti Teo, I still don't think he has told the truth about what was going on there.
We had less than stellar players when he got to Alabama. His 2007 record reflects it. We had players that were just lying around not wanting to dedicate themselves to winning.
In 2008, he almost accomplished a miracle with the talent he had. 12-2 was still decent.
Figures.

The heat sucks, though.
