I've said it elsewhere and now I can repeat it here. Manziel probably hates it at Texas A&M because he loves "celebrity". Now, you may say "He has celebrity at Texas A&M. He's a hero!" That's not the celebrity I mean. He loves hanging out with other celebrities. He loves being the cool guy with Hollywood celebrities and Hollywood starlets. Hell, who wouldn't?

But, the problem being his celebrity came from playing foot ball and specifically at TAMU. He wants out because he probably views his fellow classmates at Texas A&M as rubes. His words that I speculate him saying, not mine. Who wants to go out with the college girl from Texas A&M if he can possibly find some Hollywood actress? Who wants to hang out with his teammates, when he can hang out with the Derek Jeters of the world?

He got a taste for hanging out with celebrity, and now he is frustrated that he has to go back to where he is the only celebrity.

Alabama's SOS here doesn't seem too bad. Not top, but only a shade under LSU's which could account for Alabama playing LSU and LSU playing a tougher team in Alabama.
