He's better than his stats, but how good, I don't know. But I really can't stand anybody who has to proclaim their greatness to everyone. Humility is a dying quality unfortunately.

x2. Sometimes you need to stay the way God intended you to be. Kind of like the fat Luther Vandross>skinny Luther Vandross. Same goes for Al Roker.

Painful to wath this team fall apart. I was rooting for them to be the Miami Killers from the East. Can somebody else please step up?
Posted Friday March 28, 2014, About: NFL coach pans Manziel's 'sideshow'
I couldn't have said it any better myself. All pro days are scripted, and the fact that Johnny Foosball did it with pads and helmet makes perfect sense to me, and if anything I think should be commended not ridiculed. Zimmer sounds like the old guy that always yells at the kids to get off his lawn.

To each their own, but Sammy Watkins looks legit!
Posted Thursday March 20, 2014, About: Allen making second visit to Seattle
I think Jared Allen is a machine, but it kind of makes me wonder about his commitment to the game if he is willing to hang it up if he doesn't get xxx million dollars per year. That to me is a red flag. So many guys hang on to the bitter end until there are no suitors left because they love the game so much, ideally, that's the kind of thought process you want to see in your players.

This guy makes me sick. Tired of his antics and poor sportsmanship since he took to the field as a rookie.
Posted Monday March 03, 2014, About: How the Cowboys could land Manziel
But what has your current roster and QB done for you guys the last 10 years? Mediocrity. Might as well roll the dice. You gotta admit, if he were to pan out, he would be the DARLING of the entire state. He'd be a walking legend. And you'd probably be sporting his jersey lol!
Posted Saturday February 15, 2014, About: NFL paid Roger Goodell $44.2M in 2012
I recall his father being a hot shot of some sort. I doubt you or I could have embarked on a "letter writing" campaign and landed the same gig.
Posted Tuesday February 04, 2014, About: Manning's arm will continue to ... get stronger
Who cares if his arm gets stronger, or if he throws for 60 td's and 6000 yards next year. It doesn't matter. The odds are against this type of offense winning the super bowl. It's gimmicky. Now if somehow the Saints make it to the Superbowl, then the Broncos would have a chance. 49ers or Seahawks or a team that plays D, forget about it!
Posted Monday February 03, 2014, About: Manning rattled by 'embarrassing' question
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Seahawks throttle the Broncos. Not a fan of either really, but I don't like what the NFL is offensive only game headlined by media darling qb's...and the Broncos were the epitome of that. It was refreshing to see a team that still plays smash-mouth football (the way the game should be played IMO), come in and manhandle the darling of the league and media in the Broncos.
Posted Friday January 10, 2014, About: Rams prepared for anything with No. 2 pick
Some of you are talking like anybody picked in the last half of the 1st round, or god forbid the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc... rounds are bound to be scrubs. Take a look at the starters around the league and where they were drafted. Then look at all the 1st rounders that flame out. Then you see why so many teams like to trade down for more picks.
Posted Wednesday January 08, 2014, About: Penn State moving quickly, Franklin tops wishlist
If I were PSU, I'd go with Munchak. He strikes me as a guy who will commit to the program long term. You can't question that man's loyalty after how his firing went down in Tennessee (would rather be fired himself than fire his entire staff). He's the kind of guy PSU needs right now. Franklin will stay a couple years and if he does well, bolt for greener pastures. It's up to PSU to decide which type of coach they want.
Glad this was all a rumor. When I first heard it, I thought the Clippers were crazy for even considering something like that. Trading a tough low-post team player for a me-first I need to put up every shot fake superstar would have been crazy.

Posted Friday December 13, 2013, About: Snyder-Shanahan rift began with drafting RGIII
I don't want to hear all you new RGIII haters on here. I had very little company two years ago with my RGIII scepticism. Half of you were calling anybody hating on RGIII a racist. I saw a guy insiders projected as an NFL WR before the hype train left the station.
Posted Wednesday December 11, 2013, About: Lute Olson on new rules: 'This is ridiculous'
Most sports seem to be changing the rules to increase scoring to appeal to the masses ($$$). In the process, they alienate the true fans of the sport, create a watered-down product, and a viewing experience that is full of stoppages. Never watched a lick of hockey or soccer growing up, but watching it more and more the past few years because you can get a number of minutes of non-stop play in compared to football and basketball.
Posted Monday December 09, 2013, About: Ward chose to target Gronk low
Wrong. That play generated quite the discussion amongst fans and media when it happened.
Posted Saturday December 07, 2013, About: Jon Gruden on Texans' list of candidates?
I clicked on the article because I thought it said he was on the short list of candidates for the Texas job. I was thinking great fit. I think the college kids would really enjoy playing for him. He seems to have good rapport with the qb's he has on his draft show anyway.
Posted Saturday December 07, 2013, About: Jon Gruden on Texans' list of candidates?
Ding ding ding. I think it speaks volumes about ones HC ability to take one team to a Superbowl and face another team that you built up.
Posted Friday November 29, 2013, About: Agent irked after Peterson ditches him
I don't think it's something you can learn in a class. You either have good ethics or you don't.
