They are still incomparable. In KG leaving (he didn't leave - he was traded), it was Taylor and McHale that approached him, after they had a scenario in place. Because of Bird rules, he had the right of refusal.

Lebron made his decision without being approached by anyone other than the "player's summit."

I have no disrespect for Lebron in his decision. The issue I have, and most have, is how it occured.

No. He was realizing his window was closing. The local fans and media were telling him to go, and the fact that Ray Allen was a part of the picture made it clear. The writing was on the wall that it was time to part ways.

Again....HE DID NOT ASK TO BE TRADED, AND WAS NOT SPECIFICALLY LOOKING TO GET OUT OF MINNY. You cannot even begin to compare the situation to Lebron and his "decision."

Actually, you are wrong. There were proposals in the previous 2 seasons that he nixed, including the Bulls and Lakers. He was loyal to the man that gave him his chance, in Glen Taylor, and also Kevin McHale....THE GUY WHO SHAPED HIS GAME. You have to understand, that when the T-wolves drafted Garnet, BEFORE bringing him to the arena, they brought him to Clem Haskin's home, where he lived for the summer and during camp. THEY ALSO, got him into speech therapy. Glen ALSO, was always willing to bring in KGs guys, and overpay for them. How else do you explain some of the players that came through. THEY were ALL KG guys. ESPECIALLY T-Hud.

KG was loyal to a fault, and to his detriment.

KG didn't want out of Minny. He had to be talked into allowing the trade to occur. THAT TRADE ALMOST NEVER HAPPENED. KG had 2 faults. Loyalty and loyalty.

as for Lebron being traded.....are you really lacking the necessary skill to process what occurred? He was already gone. The trade was so that he could get more money out of it.
