The History is already in the books. We dont expect to see "the kid". This is where he belongs, thats whats important. I dont expect him to do more than DH personally. If he hits 20-25 HR's that is fine with me. Like I posted earlier, if not for Jr. and Sweet Lou, we probably would not have MLB here anymore...I know the M's are not much right now, but they are our team!

Well yeah, there is always going to be an exception...always haters out there. Did you see the welcome he got last year when the Reds played here in inter-league?
Real "baseball" fans, not the fairweather, know and understand what a talent he was and what he did for the team. We knew he was a HOFer long ago.

Yeah, we will never know what might have been. But we are SO happy to have him back here. Those outside the NW dont realize what he means to the Mariners community. If not for Jr. and Lou Pinella we probably would not have MLB in Seattle anymore.

Just to see "that swing" again is enough for us!

They would be stupid not to...but then again we are talking about the Bears, who have never had a QB (Mcmahon doesnt count). Always a running game and a MLB but no QB......if they would have had a QB that could hold onto the ball they would have beaten the Colts in the SB.
