Gronk's malady-maligned career is now hanging in the balance, which should open the door for...wait, what's that, a bird, a plane, no, it's Super-Tebow, tight-end on a mission!
Does a two-day (?) threat-to-strike qualify? Back in spring training 2004 (?), year before Sox title, a portion of the team had banded together, for a brief time, and claimed they'd strike unless PED-testing was implemented by MLB & union. Something like that. MLBPA must've swooped in, I assumed, and put the kibosh on it but quick. Never heard anything else. Maybe Frank Thomas was part of that group, or maybe it was a mirage.
Bosh was a contributor to Heat's '12 title but it was the Final's MVP James taking his game inside, in the paint, down low, laying off the tres, getting more rebounds and high-% baskets that put Miami over the top. He took page outta' Dirk's book ('11 Finals) and put it into practice. This emphasis on the inside game is reflected in LeBron's regular season stats.
Don't play big guy Bosh (6'11") in the low-post 'cause he takes up too much "space?" Oh brother, now I've read everything. As if Bosh wouldn't do anything down-low but stand around, like, he couldn't rebound, create presence, create space and, dare I say, score high-% baskets?
Bosh & his ilk have no business shooting 3-pointers. That's for Allen, Curry, Kerr & their ilk. And if Erik Spoelstra can't set this right (Bosh AND James in the paint), he's lost this team or never had it.
3-pointer's an ABA gimmick and this Bosh case is prime example of why, it's gotta' go.
So, what new news floats your boat, X48: the Keyshawn / Bieber flap, RG3's latest presser, Tim's whereabouts, T'eo's latest PR move, Kaep's newest tattoo or the enthralling QB battle in Jetsland?
Ted coulda' shouldered some blame and extended his hand, first. That woulda' been a classy move, not all that tough, either, given how things turned out. But nobody's surprised.
LRJ must be into that low-octane, environmentally-friendly ("fueled") variety. Not enough zip, so far. Come to think of it, I did see him riding his bike to work awhile back. Good for him!
Joking aside, LeBron will, in the words of countless movie greats long before Arnold pumped it up, "be back." Forget the '"revenge," just get more points and get your teamers to bang on the boards.
Zygi & Rick appreciate your post, Fansided, you're true Company Men (& Women). But rather than Jared giving the now popular 'hometown discount' as you promote, it's the Company (Vikings) who should be rewarding their All-Pro personality with a 'gold-watch contract.' Greenway is terrific but Allen is the best thing on that Minnesota D-line since Marshall, Page & Eller wore purple.
Now, if Donte had observed other photogs outside CIA headquarters who were not "accosted," that might be cause for concern, resentment. He can't not be aware of the state of caution under which we all live, especially those associated with government facilities, in these uncertain times. It may have no connection but this story does put Mr. Stallworth back on people's radars, for however briefly and for curious cause, including those of NFL coaches & GMs.
And given the positions EJ's indicating, they must've been "spectacular!"
Whomever picked Eddie's pic here seems as non-qualified as does the Rutgers gem who vetted-out his resume / records in the pre-hire, application process, the higher-up who may've been made aware of the non-degree status but chose to look the other way or even the applicant (EJ) who might've failed to 'complete' the form. Given Rutgers recent poor history on the employment front (Rice & related persons), a simple admittance of "being in error (NYP)" doesn't suffice here.
I can appreciate Darnell's sentiment and how he tailored his comment but a little adaptability goes a long way. He must've slept through that NFL introductory film for rookies: 'The NFL: No Scholarships, No Tutors, Be All You Can Be.'
You feel compelled to saddle "the Bengals" with Tyrann, do you R-Ball? How 'bout ditching your title and moving the last line into it's place: "Is drafting Tyrann Mathieu worth the risk?" He may stay clean forever but the wise move would be to give it two years, see how he's holding up.
"Chancellor...is just one part?" This man is the key component to Seattle's vaunted defense. Hence, the "whopping $17M guaranteed," indicating the tremendous confidence Carroll & Schneider have in Kam.
Leslie Frazier is a smart man. Antoine Winfield, while long-in-the-tooth, is still top-notch talent that marginal Minnesota could use back. Seattle's very tempting with their pool of talent and apparent willingness to pay-up, while the Redskins, excepting Morris (RB) and tackle-machine Fletcher are more question-mark. Though Vikes are not quite as 'frugal' as their neighbors to the East (GB) and southward (CHI), it might help their cause if Leslie had Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson give Antoine a jingle.
Time to put a sock in it, Bob. Your digging yourself a hole. And besides, we already get the picture: billionaire owners, millionaire agents & players, cozy media.

Wait, how 'bout 100, just to be on the safe side?
This is it, really, 150...yeah, 150. Tops.
Now I'm looking at all these names here...no, that's it, 150..."definatley," 150, "definately."
Arrogance won't make a case.
