Great example of team leadership!! Morons! If a player wants out, cut his butt!! Do you think ANYONE is going to pick up someone who was CUT due to bad behavior? Well, maybe Philly or Oakland, but that is like a death sentence to a career, so who cares. Instead of standing up and doing what is right, like Suspending this moron without pay for the remainder of the year, you cut his suspension in half and caved to the biggest distraction on the team and let the other players know that they can get away with it too... Man, I thought with your new management and "new football attitude" that this decision would be slam dunk. Your first major decision is a HUGE FAIL and LETDOWN to the people who love this organization.

Roger, You are fighting a good fight with this rule, but why are you ignoring so many other issues within this league???? Maybe you would be better off being the League Lawyer and get a guy with some guts into your chair who will tackle the real issues facing the league these days. A convicted felon should not be allowed to play in this league, period. Terrell Owens, Chad Eightywhatever, LJ, and their kind should be punished or banned for the turmoil and total lack of class and respect they show for this league and their position in it. If you have to buy a prosthetic set of low hangers, do it, but develop something resembling a spine and address the true issues affecting this once honorable league. If I wiped my butt with Chad or Terrell, or LJs resume, it would ad value to it compared to the detrimental atmosphere these morons have brought to the league.

Backing Eric Mangini to fire this guy is like backing the Rebels in the Confederacy now. Mangini will be gone in two months and looking for work with a horrible reputation as a resume. Who would want to work for Lerner with his absolutely moronic decision making and his horrific track record? Sorry Cleveland, you are just plain screwed until Lerner learns to stay out of the picture and hire some sound people and stop screwing over good managers.
Posted Saturday November 07, 2009, About: Al Davis ready to fire Cable?
Just an added note, who will replace Cable???? Who would want to work for this guy. I imagine the line of potential candidates who want to work here is about as long as the line for the Redskins job working under crazy **** Dan.
Posted Saturday November 07, 2009, About: Al Davis ready to fire Cable?
Al is obviously as crazy as a "crap house rat" and his choices regarding coaching, drafts, free agency, and the direction this once proud organization are heading show that he needs to bow out and let someone else take the reigns. If Cable is an abuser, then he should be let go. No doubt, but this team has some other big fish to fry if it wants to become a winner again. Al's ego and ignorance have held this team back for years.

Roy's work ethic and "team chemistry" have long been issues in Dallas. This is a retread story with nothing new and boring. Until Roy starts to truly apply himself and run a decent route, he will not be the "go to guy" in Dallas. Romo is decent at spreading things around, but if he thinks you are lazy and when he expects you to be somewhere on a timing route, and you are not there, you will not get the throw!

I will bet the farm this idiot does time within five years of being ousted from this league. With his IQ, Sense of Self, and low brow qualities, this guy might as well have a prison number tattooed to his back, it would just be more convenient that way and perhaps save the state some money.
Posted Friday November 06, 2009, About: Another Ochocinco stunt
This guy is such a complete example of low self esteem issues, it is to laugh. He has to constantly draw attention to himself and what is funny, is that under close scrutiny, he shows himself to be a classless, loveless, lost soul of a human who's life is so empty he has to be the clown to try and give it some validity. His treatment of children he has fathered is appalling given the money he makes, and his absolute classless words just make you wonder what rock this fungus oozed out of to play in this league. Cinci is having a good season, but it is being tainted by the low brow, idiotic, moronic acts of this tall child with poor manors, no morals, and absolutely no class.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Are Redskins censoring fans?
This is another case of a Billionaire's ego making policy for a team. This organization has so many problems, and they all start at the top. Snyder is an ego maniacal owner who wants to play Fantasy Football with real people and is clueless on evaluating talent, skills, or in game coaching. Banning fans from showing signs announcing their displeasure with the team and ownership is simply a cowardly way of trying to hide obvious mistakes the the OWNERSHIP has made. Snyder is the next Al Davis in the NFL! Poor DC fans!! It is a shame! This used to be an awesome and feared team. Now it is turning into a Soap Opera and Laughing Stock all because an owner refuses to delegate decision making to "real" football personnel and keep his fat butt in the owner's box and enjoy the game from on high like an owner should. Sign the paychecks, enjoy the snacks, show pride in your team, and let the (Competent) GM and Coaches do their job.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Congresswoman grills Goodell
Goodell is dodging so well the true issue here. There is so much evidence showing that Head Trauma in the NFL, Boxing, and other contact sports affects the long term health of players it is mind boggling. The problem is there is no true way to "stop" or fix the problem without switching to Flag Football. This is not going to happen. Ask most former Linemen and you will see that 75% of them at least have issues with memory, emotion management, migraines, varying degrees of dementia, and a much higher risk of nervous system disorders than in non-contact sports.
The real problem of course is money. If the league had to pony up the bucks to help treat all the retired players who are experiencing issues, it would mean less profits. I do not know the fix, and I certainly love my football, but you cannot simply ignore the evidence and hope the issue fades away. Take a cut in profits and take care of the players who earned that money for you. No Owner is relying on his NFL team to live on. Most have the team as a hobby or a nice conversation piece and make Millions on their other business interests. The chief rule of any good organization or business is to take care of the people who help you make money!! Period!
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Ex-Chiefs coach: Who would want Johnson?
I am sure KC misses Marty these days! He is absolutely right though. No one wants anyone with this attitude in their locker room. Talk about a waste of talent and a true detriment to any organization. If KC does not cut this guy, it shows me that all the talk about change is BS!! Maybe Oakland or Philly with take him in. They are the dumping grounds of the NFL these days and having another thug, loudmouth, or idiot on their roster will be nothing new to them.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Chiefs, Johnson working on settlement
I truly hope that KC is smart enough to rid it's team of this idiot! Keeping him on the team is like going boating with the trailer still attached. You won't get anywhere and he will be a continual drag and detriment to the team. Send a message that the culture of change includes having all PROFESSIONALS in your locker room. Take out the trash and send this guy packing. Philly or Oakland will take him in as they are the dumping grounds of the NFL these days. Let him drag down one of these teams and restore the "proud" image the Chiefs used to have before this pestilence stalked the sidelines.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: JaMarcus working harder?
As long as Al Davis is making personnel decisions for this team, Oakland is doomed!! JR is the most recent in a long string of unhealthy decisions from a senile and obviously out of it owner. Tom Cable is the coach, but more of a puppet when it comes to player/draft decisions. No coach in his right mind would stick with JR this long unless he was being directed to do so from someone higher up in the organization. JR got his signing bonus and money out of college and obviously does not have the work ethic or mental ability to adapt to this level of play. Cut ties with him and move on. All would never do this though because it would mean he was "wrong"... His ego cannot tolerate that, so he lets the snickers behind his back, and the widespread sentiment that he is "off his friggin' rocker" drag down what once was a legendary legacy. Too bad, but like Michael Jackson, Brittney Spears, and a lot of other very rich, you can let that get to your head and lose your mind easily if your ego outgrows your common sense. Al will one day be gone and this franchise may eventually go back to being a strong, proud, competitive organization, but not with the current management and ownership in place.
Posted Saturday October 31, 2009, About: Did Fisher give in to Titans owner?
I am not a Titans fan, nor do I follow the internal goings on at this team. I do however have the utmost respect for Jeff Fisher and Bud Adams. Jeff is the longest tenured coach in the league for good reason. He usually fields an excellent and well coached team every year. Bud gives Jeff the money and the backing to get solid players. All of the Titan's troubles this year and at the end of last year cannot be laid solely on their QB's back, but it is demoralizing to a team to have one player so adversely affect a whole teams efforts and still be playing.
I say that the Titans need to prepare for a solid Draft next year. Put Young out there on the market and see how many draft picks you can get for him and draft a solid QB next year. It should be a decent QB class in the draft and that is all this team really needs is an offensive leader who protects the ball, makes sound decisions, and listens to his coach. He may make a few mistakes his first couple of seasons, but it will pay off with the sound base and system Jeff and Bud have in place every year.
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Titans owner wants Young to start
Jeff is a a HOF Coach, and Adams family is not afraid to spend money on great talent, but at QB this year, they are really in trouble. Kerry had a great year last year but blew it in the final game, and he apparently has not gotten over that. Vince Young is another great example of a kid with amazing talent, but no mental ability to compete consistently at this level. Like many "Awesome College Athletes", he has definitely struggled to adapt to the rigors of the NFL and it is completely mental. Physically he has all the tools, but mentally, he is either not willing, or not able to put in the classroom time to learn to read defenses and prepare properly for a game. The last possibility is the saddest, he just cannot cope on game day with mental pressure. What a shame. This is a great team, anchored by a good football family and awesome coach. It is a shame that the one position that carries the team is the one they are suffering with the most this year.
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Why Raiders benched Russell
As for the headgear, Oakland/San Francisco is a cool weather city this time of year. The Bay area water is very cold and believe it or not, it really affects the temps around the city. An old saying goes "The coldest winter I ever saw, was a summer in San Francisco!"
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Why Raiders benched Russell
As a little jab at the West Coast Madman, what else would we expect from Al Davis... His Draft picks have gotten steadily worse as time has gone by. Leave scouting to true scouts, and draft picks to the coaching staff. Your picks are egregious!!!
Posted Tuesday October 27, 2009, About: Why Raiders benched Russell
Russell has amazing ability and is an incredibly gifted athlete, but he does not have the mental toughness or diligence needed to play at this level. It is too bad, and not the first nor last time we will see this happen in the NFL. He will be in Europe or Canada, or perhaps in some semi-pro league in a few after he has rummaged through his signing bonus and salary. Too bad... Wasted talent due to a lack of character and mental toughness. His work ethic is also lacking from most reports. Perhaps a talk with Jerry Rice or Peyton Manning would get this kid to understand what it takes to earn his salary and be a professional in the NFL.
Posted Saturday October 17, 2009, About: Al Davis backs Russell, down on Esiason
Al is just like Skeletor, and a few other owners in the NFL. More money than brains and more ego than common senses. Oakland's fate is sealed as long as this moron is calling the shots.
Posted Tuesday October 13, 2009, About: Did Cowboys win save Wade's job?
The Dallas Circus will continue and it will be difficult to get any quality coach to come in and actually stay as long as Jerry (head up his butt) Jones is trying to play scout/draft manager for this team. An owner writes the checks. Jerry is good at that, although not always to good players. Get a real Head Coach and hope to make the playoffs next year. Dallas is done this year and getting rid of their head coach this early in the season will just seal the grave for the year. Dallas has too much drama as it is to start messing with their coaching roster as well.
Posted Wednesday September 23, 2009, About: Giants LB rips new Cowboys Stadium
Jerry Jones is not a football man. He is a businessman and a darn shrewd one at that. I think winning football games will always be secondary to cash flow for Jerry. He hires loud mouth and controversial players (Pacman, TO, Deion Sanders), and loves Media Darlings like Romo because his dating the latest starlet sl*t brings more press and more Cowboys controversy and news! I remember the days when Dallas had one or two gimmick players and was surrounded by true football loving talent (Aikman, Emmit, etc...) It seems as the older Jerry gets, the less he cares about bringing home a championship than he does bringing home a dollar. This "Gaudy New Stadium" is strictly an old man posturing and throwing his weight around. It is like a newly engaged girl with a huge fake diamond ring, it is just classless and clueless about how to leave a true legacy in this league. Cage Dancers??? Why isn't the stadium complete with a Trailer Park and Dancer Poles... Jerry showing how classless he truly is and what he thinks of his fans. He must think we get woozy at shiny objects and T&A Women all over the place. This is not the legacy of the game nor I hope the future. The Dallas Cheerleaders have been an icon since the 70's and were about class and sex appeal, but you never associated them with a stripper joint and poor trash like these cage dancers and the absolutely atrocious displays we see in "Jerry's Dream Stadium". I sure hope the people of Texas have not fallen for this "Pimp's Dream" that Jerry has created. Absolutely a disgusting display of wealth squandered and luxury aborted for the mighty buck.
