OK internet tough guy.... If the gate receipts are such a small issue and worth so little then why the money argument at all then? And your SEC bretheren are the ones saying attendence is huge regardless of opponent-I am not, so either your fellows or you are talking out of said sphincter....

As for cupcakes, CS, and FIU certainly do fit that bill. At least FSU and Troy are respectable. As for getting the easy "W" if you have to schedule a home game to get it is it really that hard to see the basis for the SEC bashing that folks do in response to that kind of approach? Again, if wins against FCS teams and Sun Belt teams generate tons of revenue it says a lot about the fan base that buys/watches that crap.

Heck, I don't even mind bottom schools from non-BCS confs. Its the FCS teams that really bother me. TT and FSU come to mind as the biggest offenders there with 4 each over the last two years.

OK, so at what level would you not do this? Would a HS opponent still be worth your time and money? Pop warner? Seriously, I don't get the party element here-its like rooting for the cook at Red Lobster....

Uhhh, try again. UCONN has been ranked in the last few years and there is a big difference btwn the #1 FCS team and a middle of the pack one. C.S., the Citidel, and some of the others aren't even .500 teams at the level they play in.

I love the money argument. It really works because of so many SEC fans being easly amused tools...

Pretty much every other fan base avoids games that are not even games because there is no value in showing up for them-why spend the time and the money to see a game that has no chance of being close? Seriously, what kind of clown plunks down 200 or more bucks for a family of 4 to see not one but two or three 56-3 games against I-AA or Sun Belt teams?

Again, the economic argument works in UF's favor of not playing a home and home with Miami, but it says something pretty strange about the UF fan base.

The logic of the BCS honcho's is hard to fathom. Bush's ratings were abysmal-why take the PR director that created/didn't stop Bush's ratings freefall and make him your PR man?

Why not take someone who was, say, successful in his line of work?
