As for cupcakes, CS, and FIU certainly do fit that bill. At least FSU and Troy are respectable. As for getting the easy "W" if you have to schedule a home game to get it is it really that hard to see the basis for the SEC bashing that folks do in response to that kind of approach? Again, if wins against FCS teams and Sun Belt teams generate tons of revenue it says a lot about the fan base that buys/watches that crap.
Pretty much every other fan base avoids games that are not even games because there is no value in showing up for them-why spend the time and the money to see a game that has no chance of being close? Seriously, what kind of clown plunks down 200 or more bucks for a family of 4 to see not one but two or three 56-3 games against I-AA or Sun Belt teams?
Again, the economic argument works in UF's favor of not playing a home and home with Miami, but it says something pretty strange about the UF fan base.
Why not take someone who was, say, successful in his line of work?
