While I will miss Peterson (He was one of my favorite Seahawks), I am glad the team made the move. The Hawks are trying to get some of the missing pieces to get them over the hump and show that last year was a freak. Some big name guys took pay cuts last year so the team could go out and sign some guys they needed. Peterson wasn't willing to do that so he got the boot. Good for them. Players come to teams wanting more money after they have a good season and say "I an underpaid, give me more money or else", why shouldn't the teams have the right to go to a player after a sub par season and say "Hey....you are overpaid, we are going to pay you less or else we send you to Detroit"

Hasselbeck is not going anywhere. Besides....the front office has done some stupid things (transition tagging Hutch).....but who the hell are they going to plug into the starting rotation? Sure, Wallace is an amazing backup....but no way can Seneca Wallace carry a team 16 games and win a division.
