Translation:

I'm tired of playing in meaningless bowls because of my team's inability to get it done during the regular season, which is all but necessary to succeed in the current college football system.

I guess I should keep it quiet that I'm an attorney then? ROFL. Not all attorney's are ambulance chasers.

I'm not sure why any of us would get the impression that you hold a grudge. ROFL

I will say that I find it HIGHLY suspect that there were four QB's in the same league putting up crazy numbers, if you include Daniel. I watched the OU/Missouri game and I can tell you that the defensive efforts by both teams left much to be desired. There were guys open all over the place. The fact that OU was able to pressure Daniel some was the only reason he didn't have a bigger game because his receivers were getting open.

The Gators will be fired up, no doubt. And I don't blame Tebow for spinning the Heisman vote into motivation for he and his teammates. He is a competitor and I would argue that had Tebow won it, Bradford and the OU defense would be doing the same thing. Either way, it'll be decided on the field. This years Heisman race makes me wish that the votes weren't submitted until after the bowl games. That way, the argument will have been settled if the numbers Bradford put up were inflated because of poor defenses in the Big XII, or if the SEC defenses appeared to be stronger because of bad offenses by bottom dwelling league members. Much will be decided on January the 8th.

I think that was my point. I really don't care how the college athletes do in the NFL. I don't watch the NFL because it is a game that is played more for the paycheck and less for the rivalry.

Really, how so? It isn't I who stepped onto the soapbox to call out student athletes for their lack of success on a professional level. Why does that even matter? Are we to judge all by the same standard? If so then the Heisman is a sham based on the number of past winners that failed to make any indelible mark in the pros. However, most fans of the college game will continue to support their student athletes and all of their accomplishments in spite of the perceived failures by board warriors like you. But you continue on in making yourself look like a fool and arrogant condescending p rick by referring to charitable works by a former Heisman winner as "yeoman's work". And then to act as if someone with a "communications" career is unworthy of carrying on a conversation with you. Nice job. If you are in fact an attorney, a claim that I highly doubt, I would suggest that you stop posting now while you are way behind.

Eugene, you sir are an idiot.

As for the Tebow, Bradford, McCoy, Harrell debate.... the whole reason there is any debate at all is this is the first Heisman in recent memory that had a field full of such deserving candidates. I can't provide a valid argument against ANY of the athletes mentioned for the award. Each in their own right had a tremendous season. Now, Bradford will carry the burden of living up to the hype that comes with the award. Will he rise above all of the distractions and help his team win their final game? Or will Tebow and the Gators play inspired football and try to use the award as extra motivation to beat the reigning Heisman winner and his team?

My guess. It won't matter a damn bit who won or lost the Heisman on January 8th. The best team will win. Who will it be? Who knows, just like the Heisman, both teams in the title game are deserving to be there and will most likely represent their prospective conferences and universities well.

And I'll finish be reiterating that Eugene, you are a true tool.

It's probably a good thing that they decided not to have a contest to see who could hit the other guy the hardest with a hammer. Unbelieveable. Anyone else think that the anonymous call that started this moronic contest might be traced back to Pete Carroll's office? I can see it now as Pete picks up today's paper.

"HOLY %$@#.... IT WORKED"
Posted Wednesday November 05, 2008, About: Illini WR who broke teammate's jaw will play
I'm not a fan of either team you mentioned but yeah, I'm calling out the Illini program and their head coach for being a tool. Zook has proven time and time again that he has no intention of disciplining players with the only exception being that a crime or act is so egregious that the school or public scrutiny demand action. Zook is not an upstanding guy. At Florida, he actually went to fraternity row and nearly incited a riot when he challenged some fraternity members after an altercation had occurred between some players and the fraternity members at a party. But in true Zook fashion he violated his own team rules and school standards of conduct in doing so. But wait, he wasn't done. He actually defended his players for a fight that they CAUSED while attending a function in which none of the involved parties were members. It gets better. When it was all sorted out by the University of Florida Police, it was determined that:

a) his players were the cause of the original incident
b) his actions were not only wrong but ILLEGAL and it was in fact Zook and the players who were warned that they had to leave
c) HE WAS AT THE WRONG @##$ING FRAT HOUSE causing the disturbance.

Yeah Ron Zook is awesome.

And on a side note. If you're going to use an insult. Learn to spell it ****.

What a shock that Zook has no plans to discipline a player. It's been proven that anything short of a double homicide will fail to push the Zooker into action. What a loser.

What people fail to remember is these are 17 and 18 year old kids who are making these decisions. I remember when I was 18 and couldn't decide which girl to continue dating. Becky, if you're out there... for the record I did dump you for your friend. There I feel better.
