Just because Swisher was traded to the Yankees doesn't mean Teixeira isn't coming to the Yankees. They most certainly have the money to pay him. But if this is true, they might have to sign Jason Giambi again for a minimum deal.

He's better off playing for the Dodgers. The Yankees can't replace what Bobby Abreu gives them at the #3 spot. They're better off with Abreu's bat and speed. Man-Ram just doesn't have the speed or glove. Plus, does New York really need to prodcuce anymore bad Public Relation issues? A-Bucks is all the Yankees should be willing to pay the most.

Al Sharpton may be the hypocrite of all time. Make no mistake; Don Imus is a racist too, but Sharpton should never have spoken for the people who wanted him fired at WNBC. It's amazing to me how a "noose" is offensive in the sense that you need to get a grip on your players.

I agree, that team has got to be better next year. Jake Peavy actually pitched well if you follow the statistics, 2.85 ERA, 166 strikeouts, and only started 27 games, but 10-11. He would have been at least a 13-16 game winner if it wasn't for the lackluster offense (other than Adrian Gonzalez and Brian Giles who was overlooked with a BA of .306)
