Posted Thursday December 11, 2008, About: Sources: CC can opt out in three years
The Yankees over paid Zito style for C.C. he will only be dominant for about 3 years maybe less. So that opt out option is great for them lets just hope their are smart enough to use it and let some one else pay CC when he gets injured and his velocity drops.
CC is power pitcher, almost 29 years old, and about 100 lbs over weight. Ask Bartolo Colon how long the dominant stuff lasts when youre in that shape, "Round." Well let me predict at 31 he will get injured and at 32 he will attempt a come back but be unsuccessful because of an unexpected drop in velocity. Then he will struggle as a bellow average starter until age 34. Then he will be put in the bullpen in a set up role with hopes he will earn the closer job but instead he will regress and fall into the long relief slot until his 6 year $140M contract ends then he will be denied arbitration because of fear that he will accept and the club will be stuck with him for another year.

The Yankees over paid Zito style for C.C. he will only be dominant for about 3 years maybe less, so they should use that opt out clause even if he hasnt shown a decline by then let him go and let some one else pay for his contract when he gets hurt and doesnt have the stuff.

CC should stop being a Wuss being scared of the NY spotlight and take the moneybefore its not longer there for you.
CC You are power pitcher and you are almost 29 years old and about 100 lbs over weight. Ask Bartolo Colon and Sydney Ponson how long your dominant stuff lasts when you???re in that shape, "Round." At 31 you will get injured and at 32 you will make a come back but be unsuccessful because of an unexpected drop in velocity then you will struggle as a bellow average starter until you are 34. Then you will be put you in the bullpen in a set up role hoping you will earn the closer job but instead you will regress and fall into the long relief slot until your contract ends then you are denied arbitration because of fear that you will accept and the club will be stuck with you for another year. then at about 36 you will sign to a minor league contract in the off season and have to fight for a starter job in spring training and you will fail because by the your fastball will peak at 82 mph. You will then refuse the option to go back to Triple A because you believe that another team will need an extra starter at the major league level and they will come calling you, but when that doesn???t happen you will sign with an independent club somewhere out west where you so badly wanted to go in the first place and you wont touch a major league roster again after that, except maybe as a non roster invitee for spring training.

Oprah did a show about this, they were trying to scam him. They would have emptied his bank account which I'm sure has few millions in it. WOW

They could trade Escobar if they are willing to offer Rafael Furcal the contract he wants, he would love to come back.

How about Jermain Dye for Ryan Freel and a young pitcher?
Posted Monday December 01, 2008, About: Bulls keeping eye on Kaman
I will send Thabo Sefolosha $1.9M, Michael Ruffin $1.2M, and Ben Gordon $6.4M (if he agrees to the trade) for Chris Kaman $9.5M. That would match up salaries and both teams would benefit. Thabo has a team option for the next couple of years and Ben and Michael are expiring contracts. With Ben they can chose to sign, sign and trade, or even just let him walk to clear up cap space.

Posted Monday November 24, 2008, About: More ugly evidence in Vick dogfighting case
This guy is a real piece of trash and all you Ghetto dwelling **** that are supporting him because dog fights happen in your basements every other Friday or Saturday night i hope you get what you deserve. Just like you think dog fighting is no big deal because you see it all the time, i hope its not a big deal when you or your family members get shot in drive by shootings because that too happens all the time around your areas. So who cares since it happening in the ghetto its no big deal, right? I hope your dog fights get busted by the police and I hope the law becomes more strict against this savage behavior. Remember Vick still has to face these charges on the state level, so when he gets out and he shows up to the state court house I hope he is convicted for more time there, hopefully 18-24 months more.

offer them a package in the off-season, sign and trade Ben gordon to a deal of Miami's liking (hopefully to Ben's liking too or the deal is dead) and give them Thabo Sefolosha and Aaron Gray and the salaries would match up nicely and they would give beasley a nice supporting cast. If Gordon walks then offer Hinrich or Hughes.
Posted Wednesday October 29, 2008, About: Potential White Sox-Angels trade
The White Sox trading Paul Konerko straight up for Chone Figgins sounds good, but Figgins still has upside and Konerko has already shown his ceiling. I am a die hard White Sox fan but I am realistic enough to know it is all about upside when teams make trades. So the Sox could throw in Josh Fields who hits for power and can play 3rd and left and the Angels throw in their unwanted extra outfielder who is good at center, Gary Matthews Jr. Both teams improve in their desired areas and both teams get a veteran and both teams get a young player with great upside.
