Favre is acting like a child. The people of Green Bay idolized him, worshiped him, and because that team had the temerity to ask him to, in a timely fashion, commit to playing the next year, he wants to play for the Vikings in order to what? Stick it to Green Bay? Great.

Beyond that, is he a guy the Vikings could count on to show up for minicamps, participate in OTAs, or change in the same locker room, which he didn't do in later years with the Packers? How are the Vikings supposed to rally around someone who isn't fully committed to being there, and is instead motivated by vanity and a desire for revenge against his former team?

Yeah, good luck bringing a 'former' dog-fighting enthusiast to somewhere that's known for activism like San Francisco. From the day they Vick they'll have non-stop protests until they are forced to let him go. He may have served his time by that point, but people love their pets and they aren't quick to forgive.

The thing a lot of people just don't realize is, yes, the Lions really were that bad. When you can't run the ball, the rb's add nothing to the passing game, and you're playing with rookie receivers that don't know how to make route adjustments, the west coast offense is a flat-out horrible system.
