Papa, Zook snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.
Posted Monday December 14, 2009, About: Zook fires assistants, keeps Illini job
It is correctable, Ron Guenther - FIRE RON ZOOK. The whole crux of the matter lies with Zook, and if you want the Illini to get better and better, the Zooker has to go - based on an article I've read, the Illini boosters want that moRon out.

Yeah Joekidd, the Zooker is like the antithesis of Midas - instead of everything he touches turning to gold, it turns to crap.

No, it would be foolish of Meyer to make a lateral move. Kelly's the one you need.

Knock it off. We haven't had an arrest since the regular season started.

It was NOT in his first Florida contract - nor in ANY FLorida contract whatsoever.

Florida fans know the truth; rivals and rumor-mongers don't.

Read THIS and then kick yourself in your rear; NOWHERE is there an "OUT" clause for ND. It's a copy of the official contract, too.

Yes, I did read his book - but recently he has indicated that he is staying at Florida.
Posted Monday November 16, 2009, About: Top candidate to replace Charlie Weis is...
Just read it, but I'm not weeping - you're reading too much into things, and you're full of sheet. All it makes mention of is a $500,000 buyout, which is true, but no one particular school is specified.

Again, read it carefully. It's obvious you need a remedial reading course.

The "Slantinel" lies; they have no proof. THERE IS NO ND CLAUSE IN HIS CONTRACT!
Posted Monday November 16, 2009, About: Top candidate to replace Charlie Weis is...
There IS NO "out" clause for ND in Meyer's current UF contract; his old one never had such a clause in it, either. His Utah contract did, but his Florida contracts do not.

Wishful thinking on the part of trolls and rumor-mongers who think and act like they know Florida football more than we fans know ourselves.

Urban Meyer will be coaching the FLORIDA GATORS in 2010. Book it.

Where have you been lately?

(1)As of THIS SUMMER, ND is no longer Meyer's "dream job" - FLORIDA IS. Read his interview titled "This is it" in the Gainesville Sun if you think I'm lying.
(2) Blowhards like Paul Finebaum and Tim Brando have made their motives clear; more notably Finebaum in that they're trying to upset Florida's recruiting. And don't even try to equate that loser moRon Zook on the same level as Meyer - he can easily sweep the Zooker under the rug as far as recruiting goes.
(3) If you're a Florida Today reader, "I play with my Peter" Kerasotis is nothing more or less than a Spurrier-worshipper who's still crying over spilled milk because SOS wasn't hired back to replace Zook - and his grudge against Meyer is obvious.

Umm.....NO.
Posted Monday November 16, 2009, About: Top candidate to replace Charlie Weis is...
Umm....you might as well take Meyer off your list for the following reasons:
(1) FLORIDA, not ND, is now Meyer's "dream job". Insiders to the Gator football program I've heard speaking live have said the same thing.
(2) Meyer said this past July, "I'm not going to Notre Dame - EVER", and he also reiterated this to trustworthy members of the media. The Gainesville Sun's Pat Dooley wrote an article "This is it" pre-season; basically Meyer has made a commitment to Florida and is acclamated - he also said "Shelley and I are at home" in Gainesville at a Gator Club function I attended.
(3) Kirk Herbstreit noted on College Gameday that Meyer's not interested; he knows Meyer very well and wouldn't say anything to the contrary.
(4) Why would Meyer make a lateral move from Florida to ND? That's a lesson in futility; "tradition - schmedition" is my answer to one of the other questions.
(5) While his children are still in shcool, his wife does not want to uproot the family again.
Posted Wednesday November 11, 2009, About: Weis won't discuss job future
No, more like the sports media.
Posted Monday September 28, 2009, About: How bad is Tebow's concussion?
If Urban Meyer was arrogant and didn't care about the well-being of his players, there's no way in hell that he would have stayed behind in Lexington with Timmy as he did.

Think twice before shooting your mouth off, bub.
Posted Monday September 28, 2009, About: How bad is Tebow's concussion?
**** you and the horse you rode in on too. NOBODY deserves to get injured in a game; I don't give a cold crap if you're talking tongue in-cheek or just blowing smack out of both sides of your arse, you're a CLASSLESS POS.
Posted Tuesday September 15, 2009, About: Weis: Michigan officiating 'left a lot to be desired'
If anybody has a right to rant about poor officiating, it's Florida; we won't ever forget the 2003 "Swindle in the Swamp" which was one of the most pi$$-poorly officiated games in all of college football history - and fans of other teams thought so as well.
Posted Thursday September 10, 2009, About: Meyer: NFL coaches afraid of spread offense
Yeah, just like bears don't crap in the woods.
Posted Monday August 31, 2009, About: Notre Dame AD: Irish, Weis must contend for BCS
Oh really? Funny thing, the copy of his contract linked to USA Today says NO SUCH THING.

If you have a link where you can PROVE that, then post it. Otherwise, do your homework before you go spouting off.
Posted Thursday August 27, 2009, About: Zook, Meyer make peace
That, and more often than not Zook plays to avoid a loss rather than go all out for a win.
Posted Wednesday August 26, 2009, About: Zook, Meyer make peace
Hey, if the shoe fits. If the Zooker can't take constructive criticism, then that's HIS problem, not Urban Meyer's or anybody else's for that matter.

I was MORE than thrilled to see that loser finally let go on 10/25/04.

I wouldn't even say "stocked cupboard" when Zook was fired in 2004; if you recall, Meyer had to move some players around to different positions in order to make up for some deficiencies on our depth chart as well as clean up the rest of the mess Zook left during his first year in charge back in 2005.
