Melissa Haro
Brooklyn Decker

He wants to whack people because someone in their family said the town is a dump.
What would he do to some kids who broke one of his windows while playing ball?
The game needs Pedro?
Bartender, I'll have whatever Mr. Duquette is drinking......
If he did he can consider himself drafted, and traded....
Course, those crazy cut-up cops then slipped the cuffs on him and tossed him into the clink and then made darn sure the press got copies of the video, but what the heck.
Keep it in mind the next time the boys in blue come around to mooch some free tix Joba.....
There's this nuttiness about getting Sheff. And btw, someone check Dusty's meds and make sure he is taking them correctly because to actually announce publicly you are pursuing Sheffield is really a cry for help, and then the wacky idea of trading a starting pitcher straight up for Gary Matthews
Geezus H. Christmas! Those Steinbrenner punks stuck their old man out in the pasture in their zeal to make sure everyone knows who is running the shop! Let people think the old codger was still King of the Jungle when they were? Fugetaboutit.... The second they think Girardi is in trouble they will pull the chain and flush him. To keep those two glory hounds happy he better not slip out of first place, ever!
Girardi has got his butt stuck on a red hot griddle with that team and after the money spent this off season a return to the playoffs will not feed the bulldog. It's all or nothing with zero margin for error.
Girardi better win a ring, or else call his realtor.
No Gary, they are probably really happy that you declined.
Their issue with you is that you keep flapping your wangsucker about matters that don't concern you. They got sick of your campaigns to manage the Mets, and now are undoubtedly disturbed by your naming yourself Mr Met when so many more obvious and worthy candidates are around. It's time you bring some closure to your Met experience and move on with your life.
Washington Nationals go to guy=Pawtucket Red Sox utility guy
It's not like there is some kind of lofty "Marlin Way" or something......
The Rangers need pitching. Badly. The packages that were rumored at the time of the winter meetings featured some very solid Red Sox prospects but the Rangers were hung up on Bucholz.
Salty is a very good prospect, but maybe not a great one. The jury looks in on Bucholz though and most would rank him higher than Salty.
I'll agree that Selig could not just start demanding testing, because the union had a basic agreement negotiated with the owners, and approved by the owners. It's not a vacuum you know, where the players just tell the owners what is going to happen. It's agreed to by both parties, every single clause...
As to what Bud could have done, there actually were many things he could do. He had the authority to ban any outside trainer involved with players he deemed suspicious from MLB properties. He had a security department at his disposal with links to the police authorities in every MLB city and could have used those connections to ferret out any player involved with illegally obtained prescription drugs. He could have called a general meeting of MLB owners and informed them to get their houses in order, now and could have done that at any time. Lastly, he could have announced that any player caught using any illegal drugs would be banned for life under his authority to do so for the best interest of baseball. He could also have informed the union that any case involving any player banned will be conducted in full view of the public and tell the union that full public disclosure concerning dirty players will be the standard operating procedure of MLB and that MLB will be cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities to have players involved with illegal drugs prosecuted in the criminal courts.
Could he order unilateral testing? No, but he sure had plenty of options available and it's wrong to just say his hands were tied and give him a pass.
