My thought too. Either that or he is completely delusional.
Posted Friday February 28, 2014, About: Granger already told Doc he'll sign
I thought so too. Would have been better served learning from Popovich for a couple of months. Spurs would have used him better than Clipper. Don't think he is going to play more for the Clips than he did for Indy

Agree with you even though I am a Dodgers fan

Koufax doesn't lose twice to the Cardinals in the playoffs!! Kershaw a bit overrated, certainly no Koufax, and never will be.

The only way Kobe can help the Lakers is by staying away. Or getting traded.
Posted Friday October 25, 2013, About: Nash's status starting to cause concern
No Nash Yes Nash = No playoffs
No Kobe Yes Kobe = No playoffs
2013-2014 Lakers = No playoffs. not even close

I like MWP, but he can't really play anymore, way to slow to stay with anyone on defense, and not a very good shooter. He won't help the Knicks at all, and I don't see them winning 50 games.
Posted Tuesday October 22, 2013, About: The odd man out in Los Angeles
Even with Kobe being Kobe, and Howard, they just sneaked into the playoffs last season. This year they are not wining more than 30, maybe even 25 games, whether Kobe plays or not. Might as well tank and hope to get lucky in the draft.

It is so simple. Amnesty Kobe. He is never going to help us be good again
Posted Friday January 11, 2013, About: Kobe gambling too much on D?
Defense has been terrible for a couple of years now and can not be blamed on DA. Kobe stopped playing defense three years ago, and that lets everybody on the team, except MWP, know that they don't have to play defense any more. This is the main reason why they have not been contenders for the last two years, and will not be for the next three years, at least, unless Kobe is moved

Please don't fire Kiffin. He is the best thing that happened to UCLA Football in 30 years. Go Bruins

Thanks for the memories and the champoinships, Kobe, but it is time to go. Lakers need to rebuild around Howard.
Posted Friday January 04, 2013, About: Coughlin's pain 'almost indescribable'
That's how I would want my coach to feel after failing to make the playoffs. Maybe this attitude is part of the reason why they won two of the last four SBs
Posted Wednesday December 19, 2012, About: Lakers problem? Kobe Bryant
I have to agree with this post. Although Kobe is great, he has really hindered the Lakers in the last couple of years. And although he is supposedly the superstar, Lakers don't win his 5th 'ship without Gasol and MWP who saved his A55 several time during those playoffs, never more than in game seven against Boston when he managed to go 6 for 24 and the Lakers still came back to win.
Posted Thursday December 13, 2012, About: Howard on where he'll play next season: 'I know'
If he didn't say where he is going, then it is most likely not LA. If it was the Lakers, he would come right out and say it.
Posted Monday November 26, 2012, About: UCLA looking broken
Howland should have been fired a year ago, or last summer at the latest. He has lost it as a coach, if he ever had it to begin with. Can't disregard his three straight final fours, but those teams had some amazing talent on them and his teams have greatly under achieved ever since, not to mention the article about the team's problem in last year's SI.
Posted Monday July 09, 2012, About: Love losing patience with Wolves, nears ultimatum
I think you are missing something. In what positive parameter is he a top 5 player, at the present? Certainly not in true shooting percentage, or in making the players around him better. He is top five in shots attempted, and probably top one in BAD shots attempted. He has been great (but not as great as he has been made out to be), but he is not any more. His only (slim) chance of winning a championship is if he lets Nash run the show as much as possible.
