You had nothing, and now you got less. That ineffective D-line was already putting a lot of pressure on Irish cornerbacks, and now your only experienced CB is gone for the season with a bad Achilles.
Bad idea #1: Put together a killer schedule for a mediocre team. HA HA HA HA HA HA.
14 point swing? You assume ND was going to get a TD, which wasn't evident on that play. Even if they got a FG, they have to give it back to USC's offense, something they avoided with the runback. Besides, USC left a TD on the field at the end of the game, but they didn't need it.
You guys can make Crist your scapegoat if it makes you feel better, but the rest of us know it was a team effort.
The "great" Cierre Wood: 5 yds on 5 carries (1.0 ypc) 2 USC RB's: 185 yds (5.0 ypc) Total rushing yards: USC 219, ND 41 (25 of those came on the only offensive TD)
The "great" Michael Floyd: 28 yards receiving Robert Woods: 119 yards receiving + 2 TDs
NEWSFLASH for Domers-- Your wounds were not self-inflicted. You got whipped in your own house by a team with better coaching and better talent. Deal with it.
Funny, I asked the same question about Floyd and his DUI. If Meyer was considered weak for only giving one game suspensions for DUI's, what are we to think of Kelly?
I just don't want to hear any more from the pious ND faithful about integrity. Can't help believing that a less gifted athlete committing the exact same infraction would have got the ax.
Less than 2 years ago backup tight end Joe Fauria got booted off campus by the same kangaroo court that gave Floyd community service. They didn't publicize Fauria's offense, but he didn't even get arrested.
And what were the consequences for that group of ND football players that got arrested for underage drinking last summer? Slap on the wrist? Anything?
A year or so ago it was reported that Auburn was refusing to play UCLA in the Kickoff Game in Atlanta. I suppose Kiffin leaked that, too. The Tennessean article by David Climer does not back up the claim that Kiffin leaked any news about UTk refusing to play USC.
Climer should work for the National Enquirer with the attitude that his job is to tell people what they want to hear about the guy they love to hate. Whatever sells copy, I guess.

By the way, where are all the Domerhomers today?
2. Ouch! That will teach them.
3. Selective law enforcement is a lousy defense. They knew they were breaking the law, however unpopular or dumb it may seem to some.

Nashville is a great town and deserves better.
