Yellowstone is a great destination. Seeing critters in the wild is so much better than a visit to the zoo. For maximum scenery, though, I'll take Yosemite.
Fly the fam to Vegas. See the sights for a day or two, then rent a car and drive a loop that takes in Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Sedona, east on I-40 to Albuqueque, then north to SW Colorado (See GTH's post for some great stops. Also, north of Durango is the town of Ouray that I went through as a kid and I still remember it for the mind-boggling scenery). Drive back west to Monument Valley (Bryce and Zion), then back to Vegas.
About 1500 total miles depending on side trips. You'll never want to see another piece of turquoise or western art as long as you live.
Remember back several years all the domerhomers waxing on about the "good ol' days"? Now that the Irish finally matter, they'll be coming back in droves. Just thought I'd stop by tonight and get a baseline.
Let me guess... you were an altar boy. There was an "incident". If you haven't already, get someone to talk to - preferably a licensed therapist - before you hurt yourself or someone else. Under the circumstances, sure can't blame you for your warped outlook.
Why'd you drag out this tired old thread? By now there's nothing special about drunk domers. By the way, what did Kelly end up giving Rees for his sins? One game?
And preseason rankings are garbage. By December Ohio State will have a better record than ND. Believe it! Here, settle down and have a donut with your Jim Beam.
Too soon to tell. Barkley has plenty of talent to support him if they don't keep losing RBs to injuries, but how famous the backfield becomes will depend on the O-line. The Song Girls are looking good, though.
There is an area where normal attrition may differ school-to-school. A school that consistently recruits better athletes will have more turnover due to early commitments to the NFL. However, that difference probably wouldn't explain your numbers.

I'll take Dead Horses for 200, Alex.
