Without even realizing it, you hit the nail on the head. There are no detectives investigating because she never filed a police report. That, and not his status as an athlete, that leads most to assume she's lying. She waited over a year, never reported the incident to the police and demanded boatloads of money. It's strictly he said, she said. And in this particular case, she has zero credibility.
