I have said this many times -- Mike Leach is concerned about the players graduating from college since they are student athletes. Crabtree is talented, but he is one hit in the NFL away from being another uneducated former athlete.
He did a great job in the Philly SB.
He is not the problem in Dallas. Sorry, when you have the weapons Dallas has, it is the Offensive Coordinators job to scheme the offense to get the ball to them and the Head Coaches job to focus them with discipline. Wade and Jason failed.
Bradford is not that good -- i.e. to go pro. Sorry, he's just not. If he goes to Detroit for example, how long you gonna give him to last? If he goes to a good team in need of a QB, how long until he sees the field?
There are certain "media darling" schools -- Notre Dame (heck, they had their own major TV Network); Florida (thanks to Spurrier getting them on the map); Texas; Oklahoma; USC; Ohio State to name a few. Heck, they could graduate all of their Junior and Seniors and still be ranked in the Top 10 and have a Heisman Candidate to boot just because the media adore them for some reason. I fall back again to Tebow getting more votes than Darren McFadden last year. Come on! Without McFadden Arkansas sinks (their QB stunk). He was the best player in the nation. But, he went to Arkansas.
