pau is just saying what he honestly feels. the stats speak for themselves. and i don't think this will affect kobe at all. he's mature enough to understand that, in some nights, like last night in the game against the sixers, kobe may have a rough night and in situations like that, pau needs to get more touches. lakers are going all the way!

the difference between now and then is that now, shaq's credibility has been soiled and the fact that he has no longer enough skill to back up his ego. i just think shaq needs to shut-up and play like the best back-up center that he should be right now.

i hate shaq especially the way he bad mouth other players like kobeeee. but i have to agree with him. shaq could play as long as he wants to. he is one of those players (all centers actually) whose mere presence could actually change the game for there team. he is 7 feet 300 sumthin' pounds. all he has to do is guard the lane, stand still and put his hands up. on offense, he's still good for occasional post-up plays, put-backs and receiver of drop-off passes from teammates driving to the basket. the only catch is that he has to play limited minutes and may rest on some games if he'll want to continue playing for five more years.

it doesn't matter who coaches the team. if the coach want you benched then you should sit! if you think it would be better for you to be out there on the court, then beg. melo is still young and he can learn from this. kobe made similar "coach-defying" mistakes in the early part of his career.

i have to disagree. in this day and age, numbers and stats alone does not give you the mvp trophy. team achievement plays a big part! that's why dirk won it 2 seasons ago. the way kobe brought his team to beat the cavs and celts without filling the stat sheets sounds MVP material to me. but i have to say lebron will win it this year though but not discounting the greatness of kobe, of course.

you cannot blame scott for being sentimental with the lakers. He was a member of the original lakeshow who won 3 titles in the 80s. I'd rather hear those words from scott than hearing the usual answers like "we'll see". But i can see him remain as hornets coach as long as cp3 is there. Down the line, i see fisher coaching the lakers 3 years from now.
