He was a fresman, the 3 in front of him had 1 or 2 years on him. This is how it works in a successful system, new qb's learn the playbook and the system. Kelly also prob was hoping the redshirt would give him that extra year. I'm fine with this, he had all the potential in the world...but then again so did Dayne Crist who was a 5* kid coming out of high school.

Yes, it was very different...we went to class (usually, haha) and no fake girlfriends to worry about either! Technology seemed like it was going to help us, not be our downfall and elders were respected, not made fun of by little twa.ts that don't understand the importance of things that came before them.
