Prokhorov saving face? I don't think so. Apparently the Nets and Nuggets has separate deal. Denver wants the Nets 2 first round pick. So they are sending at least 2 of the players from the Knicks, either Gallinari, Moscoff, Chandler or Felton to the Nets. Everybody wins.

It does not matter if the Knicks gets Anthony. With that team decimated no way they are going to improve. Many "stars" or stars wannabe has gone thru that famous arena and their dreams just died. It is like a cemetery for basketball dreams. And it is not gonna change soon despite a scoring machine, no-defense or rebound Anthony. There is just incredible pressure to play in that place especially the media and the fans. The Nets could get a decent SF for a tiny fraction of that money.
