Nobody is gonna want to step into that job with that huge negative cloud hanging over it and be expected to pick up where the program left off. The Hawks were screwed whether they resigned JJ or not. Until ownership gets its act together enough to want to make this team successful, all they are is a 1st round playoff team. Crawford is as good as gone, preferably for a big or a backup 3...maybe both. Resigning Horford is the priority, not giving JC a contract before the whole salary structure gets reset...that's why Melo wants to be dealt now, because once the lockout goes down and the new contract parameters are put in place..only the real stars will get the big dollars
