You just have to keep Bimbo away from grapplers, he doesn't have a chance against proven martial artists.

Bimbo can be a draw in the UFC if he fights guys who are sluggers. He will never be a threat to the upper echelon fighters, but a great draw against middling-type guys who can pound. A good signing by White to pay the bills on cards between the super-fights.

The Leafs can get back a 1st rounder for Kaberle (who will be dealt). That means the Leafs paid 1 first rounder instead of two. If the Hawks give the Leafs a 2nd rounder, they get another reasonable choice. Kessel is well worth the extra pick... the guy is 21, and is already a proven sniper. How many 21 year-olds are in the goal scoring category as Kessel Players simply do not score that much at such an early age. It was a good gamble for Burke. And yes, if they give up a 1st - 3rd overall pick, the pick is costly. But there is a lot of hockey to be played, and even if the Leafs miss the playoffs again - a strong possibility, as long as they haven't given up a lottery pick.. they can live with that.

Yanks will sign Lackey and Holliday. Promote Austin Jackson. Sign Mike Cameron to replace Melky until waiting for Jackson to mature into CF. Or go after Granderson, but that will cost them Jackson and a couple of other studs.. Gardner can get 30-40 starts to see if his bat develops. If he learns how to slap the ball well ( a la Ellsbury), he could be a real weapon with his speed. Cameron is a cheap option that can be a 1 year bridge for someone else to take over.
