Since it is illegal to execute the players, you might as well execute the game plan.
Answer- They are a farm team for larger markets. It is unfortunate that the disparity is so great that teams find it difficult to keep homegrown talent. Unfortunately, nothing will change as long as Bud Selig is in control.
Why would it be? Anyone willing to trade for him is nuttier than he is.
BTW, I thought that Cleveland was the farm team of MLB. There were a lot of former Indians in the playoffs.
