This rumor is cornier than a turd after thanksgiving. DeJesus is much better than Robinson Can'O'Chopped Liver, at least he is a consistent player. Cano is riskier than a mole on John McCain's cheek. As a casual Royals fan (there are no die hard fans) I hope we get at least a pitching prospect out this deal if it is true.

Being a casual fan of the Royals (there are no die hard fans) I can say that Teahan has been somewhat of a bust since he was the center piece of the Carlos Beltran trade and has not lived up to his hype. That said he can play 3B, 1B, RF or LF so he is flexible. He has a cannon for an arm but his power hasn't lived up to his hype and he will never be a .300 hitter. DeJesus on the other hand is is a very good player. He has all the skill you want in an outfielder and he comes thru in the clutch. I think it would take a lot from the Cubs to pry him from the Royals, possibly Fontenot and a top pitching prospect. Teahan on the other hand would go for much cheaper.
